I was led to believe that DNA testing is done in special labs with special equipment? Is it possible that samples were rushed to a "local" hospital or lab - with the needed equipment to test AND have a sample to compare it to??

Don't get too far away from the current story. It's all over the main stream media today, especially MSNBC, that the Pakistani government was involved in and harbored Bin Laden. It's the headline at foxnews.com right now. General Hamid Gul, former head of Pakistani intelligence and head of the Mujaheddin is saying that the US will conduct military operations in Pakistan, which will completely and totally destabilize the region even more as China is pissed at the West's empirical shenanigans. If/when we go into Pakistan, it will further give the "terrorists" justification to conduct terror attacks. Get ready! Hope and change? Nope, business as usual. Continuity of agenda. Gerald Celente says major drops in the dollar this year will be swept under the media rug by military action, potentially big military operations.

Becaise the origional video had a different voice over. if you go bck and watch the video you posted, the audio doesnt match the video..

The video was put together as a joke for something else.

and no it doesnt make you a bad person.. easily beleiving what you see and being naieve a little, but not bad. Wat you saw in the video wiht the door being kicked was not obama.

As well as amending the condition of Bin Laden's wife, US officials have also changed the name of which of his sons was killed during the raid. The dead son was initially named in press reports as Hamza, described in one article as Bin Laden's "presumed heir" to the leadership of al-Qaida, apparently based on the official White House transcript of a Brennan briefing. However, Brennan said during the briefing that it was another son, Khalid, who was killed.

Officials have continued to imply he offered resistance before he was shot but have not clarified the extent of that resistance, given that he apparently did not have a weapon. Bin Laden was shot once above the left eye and once in the chest. The Obama administration is considering whether to release photographs of his burial at sea.

If they release a picture like that, it will be a huge PR disaster, that image will haunt the US forever, much better to release a gruesome picture of the body.

I asked the folks at work (they are pretty normal down to earth folk) what they thought, most thought that it seemed suspious dumping the body so soon, there was no evidence (which implies some of them didn't believed the story). Its funny how everyone thinks the whole story is so suspect, maybe the US Administration should reflect on that point.

I felt exactly the same and was excited to see this post title in ATS.
Everything was too odd. When I heard the news it felt strange right away. The only question that popped to my mind was: Why at this moment?! At that point of time I was waiting for the Canadian elections on May 2, to hear if my thoughts of Harper staying on top so NAU (North American Union) can continue with its "expansion" will be true.... and yes, it happened. I see all the things happening right now in the world as many pieces of a big puzzle getting together faster and faster and this parody of announcement was a stage for too many things to come very soon for everything that has been talked about NWO.

I would love to hear some thoughts on connection of NAU progress and this announcement about Bin Laden's death.

Who cares if he was armed.. The peolpe he attacked on 9/11 werent armed. Under Sharia law, he got what was coming to him - an eye for an eye.

His wife was wounded and survived and was turned over to Pakistani authorities, so chances are they will build her another million dollar compound to live in.

I was listening to a report that this might cause other extreamist groups to surface. Maybe giving america another reason to start yet another war. Maybe..

For everyone's information, a DNA profile can be done in about 9-12 hours. Presumably, the profile of Osama's sister was already available for comparison. I didn't read all the posts on this issue, so I don't know how it fits in the timeline. However, from a standpoint purely about the analytical process in a properly-equipped laboratory, it takes around 10 hours or so for a standard DNA profile to be determined. I have direct, expert knowledge about this.

Not gonna reply to one single ats post but it sure seems to me that alot of folks here are really brainwashed by the OS.

They were showing the flood maps and the entire area around Memphis looks really bad. I thought to myself, OMG the New Madrid! And instantly thought of the liquification factor if that fault blows!!

The flooding is to the east of the Mississippi River and the New Madrid Fault is to the west. The water wont be recrossing the Mississippi to get to the fault.

I do indeed work in a laboratory that does DNA profiling. I am very familiar with this. I am an analytical chemist. I was speaking of a properly equipped laboratory; I can't comment on "remote locations" but my professional opinion is that additional time would be required if samples had to be transported great distances. As I said, I didn't check the timeline to see how my comment fit in with time/dates of the reported DNA analysis.

I don't know what the point of the radiation comment is.
