The Constitution? Do you actually believe the Tea Party gives a tiny rat's a$$ about that? Most of these idiots couldn't even spell Preamble, much less know what that is.

And where were these yahoos when Bush was spending us into this hole? So you are telling me that they all just woke up on November 4th, 2008 and said 'hey! I'm mad as hell at all this spending!'

And I'm supposed to believe that no one in the Tea Party is racist, even though it's fairly obvious there is a serious lack of diversity in it's ranks? Please.

Your vehement denial about the racism that is so apparent with some of the participants makes your every statement suspect.

My "vehement denial" of racism? You mean my post of Lloyd Marcus the Broadway guy who traveled with the Tea Party Express for months at a time? And yah I shook his hand at an event, and Yah I like the guy, and yah he composed that piece. How can you make such an idiotic generality about millions of people not being able to spell the Preamble? I wish you the best of luck, but you are not all that convincing in your irrational rant on the spelling abilities of several million people you never met or talked to. At least Tea Party members can say they have read and believe in the Constitution, whereas some liberals think it's just a piece of trash, or outdated or some such nonsense. Yes, most Tea Partiers I've run across care very much about the Constitution.
I cannot say when individual members woke up, as I have been pretty awake for a long time, but I think in general terms it was when people realized the popularity of a Marxist Democrat taking the lead, and we even see what happened to the marketplace as soon as he was nominated. The famous "Spread The Wealth" comment surely was a wake up call to some. It's the first time any major candidate for the Presidency was that obvious about their Marxist ideals.
The Tea Party statement does involve not wanting to see our country taken down the primrose path of Marxist Socialist Utopian ideals. The Soviet Union already did that and failed miserable. Why do liberals want to do that with America? I guess they think they can do it better than the Soviet Politburo

actually from reading your replies i'm wondering if you even know what logic is.

I feel bad for you. I should have realized you can't un-drink the koolaid

that is total baloney! so you really think a white racist would have black friends and let a black man marry him. does that really make sense to you? really?

Again, I'm not saying rush doesn't like black people as long as they know their place in his world.

and the remark about 'as long as they know their place!!!!!! what is that all about? wow, talk about making assumptions to fit your theory. its laughable.

The fact that you don't see it is the only thing that's laughable

WRONG! that is the problem with you super sensitive PC types. you can't distinguish between true racism and humor, for one example. if you think that telling a joke like this is racist, then 98% of all comedians would be charged with hate crimes

wow...are you 12? I ask not to make fun but only because your basic lack of understanding that there are different levels of racism. Everyone has a racist bone in their body as I've stated.
People like you can actually be worse than the KKK because you don't even know you're doing it. At least the KKK are upfront about their racism.

and this response you gave i think pretty much solves the mystery to the way you think and why you want to believe Rush is racist. you can't differentiate between parody and real life. if that is your problem I'm guessing you are from a foreign culture and 'just don't get American culture' or you are mentally handicapped.

I live and have grown up in Michigan.

i actually agree with you on that part. but let me guess.... you voted for Barrack Obama.

He was the least of the worst.
McCain the insane would have destroyed America.
He said he'd love to have cheney as his VP....that alone is insane.
He said he'd like to stay in iraq for the next 100 years...you gotta be kidding me!
He stated iraq was a perfectly safe place upon his visit....well of course if you're wearing body armor, are surrounded by helicopters, tanks and special forces.
I could go on if you like but I'm just going to assume you won't believe those facts either.

i caught you lying earlier, that was such BS that you listen to Rush on a regular basis because you want to 'know your enemy'.

Actually it's true.
To defeat your enemy, you must know your enemy. I also watch hannity, glenn beck oreilly factor and fox news in general. Do you honestly think you can go into a fight blind and expect to win? That's idiotic !
Just as idiotic as you stating you caught me lying earlier
Oh please !
Now I do admit I can only take beck in small doses because he is the most insane of the bunch

you are just trolling and its obvious.

Honestly, you need to grow up..stop drinking the koolaid and start looking at what's going on around you. Forces from all sides are conspiring to steel our rights but it's more important for you to pick on my spelling of limbaugh and call me a liar.......I've never seen a sheep drinking koolaid until now.

"The reality is that some of the leader are (ie rush Limbaugh). " You have absolutely no knowledge of what you are saying. To begin with rush is not the leader and b. rush is not a racist. Would you please give one example of any racist remark that came from Rush Limbaugh mouth. thanks

I've posted a bunch of audio and video
with racist comments coming from rush's own mouth.
Is that proof enough?

The assumption that the tea party as a whole is racist is just silly.
The reality is that some of the leader are (ie rush limbeaugh).

Most of the citizens who support the tea party aren't racist but dupes. They fell for the smoke and mirrors.

Asthe "teaparty" is not a national political party in the same sense as "democratic;republican or libertarian" parties are: (it would be quite impossible to vote the the "party line") and I vote my conscience anyway I hardly consider myself a"dupe"for sitting through a few rallies and voting for candidates of my own choosing.. but if you only feel good about your messiah in the office by hurling personal insults at those who say: "told you so"; fire away. It rolls off like water on a ducks back.

This is redundant. Attack me, attack you... There lies a fundamental difference in what we believe our democracy should provide its citizenry, much less how to accomplish it.

I believe we should all be fed, clothed, given a good education, and a bit of dignity in our golden years. I believe a man who has a home and an education is ready to contribute to the greater good. I believe that I'd be willing to sacrifice much to make sure each child has a fair chance.

I don't believe every slime ball lobbyist with an Armani suit should eat for free, on our dime. I believe we should protect our shores and crank up the renewables. Leave the desert, build bridges. I believe everyone should concerned about their fellow man, and show compassion for those who have had a bumpy ride.

Damn the Labels.

I notice you never answered if you voted for Barrack Obama. Might that be because the answer is obviously YES!

That explains a lot, that you are easy to dupe because the guy had absolutely no executive experience and spent millions to hide his past. hell he might not even be legally qualified to be POTUS

Not only are you a troll and the ONLY ONE on this thread who thinks Rush Limbaugh is a racist, you have proven that you have no idea how to think. so then you resort to calling me 12 and drinking koolaid! lolol

i can only assume that you are either just that dumb or trolling. i'll give you the benefit of the doubt and guess you are trolling. i'm not wasting anymore time with the trolls, you don't use logic so its pointless

So...In response to the claim that the media has portrayed the Tea Party as racist by singling out the ever so rare racist individuals amongst the protesters....

You post video's of the ever so rare african americans attending Tea Partys.

...anyone see the irony?

No, I dont see the irony.

Is this a game where we are keeping score of the number of blacks at a rally?

Or the infamous open letter By Mark Williams to the NAACP when he was head of the Tea Party express..

Dear Mr. Lincoln

We Colored People have taken a vote and decided that we don’t cotton to that whole emancipation thing. Freedom means having to work for real, think for ourselves, and take consequences along with the rewards. That is just far too much to ask of us Colored People and we demand that it stop!

Why didnt you state that this letter was pure satire, as proven by the first line of the article;

I like satire as much as the next guy.

wrightandleftreport.com...

Or how about instead of chasing down the lone black person at a Tea Party Rally to talk to we look at actual research and statistics...maybe a joint poll by the New York times and CBS?

Two of the most liberal members of the MSM...;@@:

Would you expect the NYT or CBS to state anything positive about the TPM?

The survey is full of relevant data, such as;

More than half -- 58 percent -- keep a gun in the household.
:shk:

Eighteen percent of Americans identify as Tea Party supporters. The vast majority of them -- 89 percent -- are white. Just one percent is black.

what about the remaining 10%?

www.cbsnews.com...

I will give you this...not all TP members are racist...but most of them want to repeal the civil rights act which Rand Paul has not been shy about calling for.

And this is a bad idea because....?

Are you serious?
Did you really ask why it would be a bad idea to repeal Civil Rights?

Actually, you are the uneducated one. From a CBS survey:

They are better educated than most Americans: 37 percent are college graduates, compared to 25 percent of Americans overall. They also have a higher-than-average household income, with 56 percent making more than $50,000 per year.

www.cbsnews.com...

And where were these yahoos when Bush was spending us into this hole? So you are telling me that they all just woke up on November 4th, 2008 and said 'hey! I'm mad as hell at all this spending!'

What were they saying during the Bush admin?

And I'm supposed to believe that no one in the Tea Party is racist, even though it's fairly obvious there is a serious lack of diversity in it's ranks? Please.

Heres the breakdown:

Eighteen percent of Americans identify as Tea Party supporters. The vast majority of them -- 89 percent -- are white. Just one percent is black.

What percentages would satisfy you, and your false logic? Anyone that relies solely on headcount to claim diversity is a closet racist, imo.

If there were a proportional equivalent to society at large, that would be a true representation.

It doesn't surprise me at all that they make more than the average person. Why else would they be Republican?

I'm sure Paul's argument has something to do with equality... Blah, blah, blah. It's the same tired argument that white people use when they gripe about the NAACP. "If we had a National Association for the Advancement of Cracker People, everyone would say we're racists." To that, I have but one word: history. Study it.

Ron Paul is NOT RACIST.

Ron Paul's popularity has been hijacked by rednecks who have no education.

Ah, a quota system applied to voters. Next, youll be calling for quotas at the ballot box.

So, youre saying that being Republican and doing well are related? Interesting....

I'm not calling for a 'quota system,' spin ninja. The ratio of 'race' to 'race' should be a mirror image of the society at large, if a group is to be seen as a true representation of the people it serves. Tea Party? Not.

And let's face it, the GOP is all about bailouts for billionaires. So in a sense, I guess you're right. Being Republican means major profit!

Why?

Because -every- person in the world has racist views. Some of us have accepted our racism and are trying to move beyond it, others wallow in it and wear it like an armor. Many of us that do not believe we are racist are living with unexamined racism and will never move past it because we havent accepted it as a part of the animal which is human.

Thank you for better illustrating the point i have also tried to make. Racism is deeply embedded in our culture.

kudos!

So you think the NBA should have many more white players, eh?

Did it ever occur to you that the TPM reflects the demographics of its members? And did you ever consider that the fact that 90% of blacks vote Democrat is racist?

You mean like Barry bailing out his buddies in the unions? And, what is wrong with major profits?

It`s no wonder the financiers of the "teaparty" are billionaires and coporations, who seek to divide the ordinary workers against one another.

do you have any documentation on these so called billionaires and corps that are bank roll the tea party?
So me some evidence to this fact or are you just spouting party line here?
