You guys gotta remember. People in Africa (mostly) spend almost the whole day outside. They basically live outdoors. Its not like here in America where its the complete opposite.
The point I'm trying to make is that they are completely aware of what the sky and surroundings look like at varying conditions. Sunny, overcast, stormy, cloudy, clear sky etc.
So I don't think they would get so excited over a naturally occurring phenomena.
But having said that, I realize there could be a logical, naturally occurring explanation.
But if I had to guess, I would agree with the others. Testing out Blue Beam.
You are a bigot. Africa is a continent. I don't refer to the Brazilian Forrest tribes as American. Wake up.
Not to blow your small mind set or anything, but tons of ppl in africa have houses and stay indoors tons. There is more ppl living in urban areas in africa, then rural.
South Africa has the BEST cellphone reception of any other country, you can get signal in the middle of africa from MTN.
"So I don't think they would get so excited over a naturally occurring phenomena."
The rural Africans are very religious and some believe they can even make it rain when they want. Farmers use to pay witch doctors to preform rituals to make it rain etc. Point i am trying to making is the opposite of yours, they get very very exited over naturally occurring phenomena.

Well the shape in the video isn't the same but beyond that why would Mary look like that painting in the first place? Why not look like some other painting out of thousands? It's pretty obvious there is some crap between the sun and the person filming.

There is nothing of interest in this video. Some guy pointing his camera phone at the sun does not a miracle make.

All i see is a diamond.....how in the world did you get Virgin Mary from that?
Its got as much chance of being a chocolate animal biscuit. You could make any claim from that visual joy.
Bet theres about 20 blind Africans now after staring at that
Is that what we're supposed to be looking at? A fuzzy diamond? I don't know what it is but it sure looks nothing like the Virgin Mary.

Make of it what you will. I personally see why the religious see the virgin Mary. But I'm not religious.

BTW, to all these people claiming this is some sort of military holographic image, how in the world do you put a holographic image in front of the sun and with no visible clouds to screen the image on?
Last I checked it is possible to put a holographic figure on clouds, but one in front of the Sun? Second of all, people will be going blind if this was just a hologram, if we hear about hundreds, or more, cases of people in Ivory Coast going blind then it is possible this was a holographic figure, if they don't that in itself is a miracle.
