Virgin Mary Shows Herself In Center Of Gleaming Sun In Africa!?! (OR PROJECT BLUE BEAM)

I just wonder how many people would be calling this the "Virgin Mary" if we hadn't been told prior to the video that this is what we were about to see.

It is anyone's guess what we're looking at. With the isolated images posted... I kinda see something between a guy giving a "two thumbs up" salute, and a pink elephant. And I AM a spiritual person... it's just that I cannot imagine the God I believe in making people strain and guess to such an extent over what they are looking at. If he wanted to make himself or any of his compatriots known, I just think... he'd do it. Why be so cryptic? I don't know.

OMG what if it WAS a giant pink elephant?? What do you suppose that means?

Exactly, the power of suggestion is strong. Easter also has many becoming convenientlyt christian for a couple days also and looking for excuses to justify it. If we had said it was some other religous symbol or NWO projection, ghost, spirit or cryptoid people would be going with what ever was posted.

Seems to me like, if she WAS the Virgin Mary, she'd have said something?
I mean, that's the Ivory Coast right? Where they are burning people and killing each other?

Because the sighting wasn't meant for internet geeks imo, it is meant for the people at the Ivory Coast. It could be possible that this is a sign of something really bad is about to occur at the Ivory Coast, because according to the bible "sings in the skies" are a warning of the end, since this wasn't seen in other places it could be a sign of something major about to occur at the Ivory Coast, or surrounding areas. I am thinking this could also have been seen in some other places in Africa, but unless we have corroboration of this it is just speculation.

And again, does this really looks like a "pink elephant" to you?...

Look at the hourglass shape, the small waist and big hips. You can even see her arms outstreched.

That is clearly a woman.

I really hope it is not a sign of something bad about to occur there, there is enough suffering the world over.

I'm sorry but yes, I still see the pink elephant.. look at the big floppy ears, the two eyes, the trunk. Yep I still see it. Perhaps that is a sideways admission of my own insanity, but that's what I see. Paging Dr. Rorschach.

My point is that we all will see something different, and adamantly pointing to the things that are utterly clear to you, i.e. the apparently womanly figure with the wider hips etc... will probably not sell anyone else who's brain, for whatever reason, is seeing a pink elephant.

In fairness, I understand what you are trying to say. Yes, if I stare at the image I can see where the classic image of the Virgin Mary is somewhat visible. But that's only because you told me what to look for. I cannot guarantee I'd be seeing Mary if it hadn't been suggested to me. I guarantee you others reading this will start seeing a pink elephant in spite of themselves. The power of suggestion is remarkable, and the power of BELIEF is even stronger. When you combine the two, you will be hard pressed to change a person's mind.

Who are we to say that the Historical Virgin Mary even looked that way? How do you know she had an "hourglass figure"? Perhaps she was rather waif-ish... or maybe she was heavy set? I don't know of any historical descriptions of her physical appearance. Maybe this is just some other lady. lol Who knows?

I think the pink elephant is just as plausable as the Virgin Mary.

The title of the thread instantly makes you look for Mary, when it is most probably a pink elephant...

They were extremely poor, and they had to walk, and endure long voyages, so I doubt Mary was fat. Second of all what in the world would cause a partial pink elephant to appear in front of the Sun and with thousands of people looking at it and not go blind?

I hope you've caught on to the fact that my "pink elephant" scenario was somewhat allegorical. My point was to show that not everyone is going to see THE Virgin Mary in that rather obscure image. I mean, honestly, why wouldn't a pink elephant appear as a spiritual representation of God's love? It is a rather pleasant image.. I don't think many people would feel icky about a pink elephant. It's charming. Uplifting.

Also, I'm not Catholic and therefore I do not glorify Mary and as such I see just as much rationale behind a pink elephant miraculously appearing in front of the sun as Mary. Neither elephants nor Mary were every given super powers to prevent blindness.

Sorry if I'm coming off as snarky, but you called me a geek and it hurt my feelings

I said internet geeks, which includes myself, The apparition occurred at the Ivory Coast in Africa, so it was meant for them, and not for us. Those people saw the image a lot better than we can see it, and noone said anything about pink elephant.

BTW, here is a video of what people there are saying they saw, and they are not saying "pink elephant" sorry.
