And what of the people? I guess they wouldn't shed a tear for them either?

I didn't think earthquakes or any geological process was into numerology. If there is ever any proof that magma is into tarot cards, numerology or runes, then i'll be worried.

The only thing that happens like clockwork on Good Friday in our area is rain.

Guess what it's doing today!

The Good Fri. thing actually does not add up. If the OP is trying to tie in Good Friday as a "special day" somehow... it turns out that it's a washout. According to the bible, Jesus was dead for three days. Given that the Jewish day starts at sundown, three days do not fit between Fri and Sunday morning. This is a tradition put on us by the Catholic church.... I guess for convenience's sake.

To the OP... what personally are you doing to avoid the foretold disaster that you mentioned? Have you, for example, left the country?

You have to go back and read, or should, before you post... the OP had said earlier in the thread that he lives in Canada.

In order to get an idea of the probability, just look at how many days of a typical year the market closes at its highest point for the day.

I'm betting the probability is a lot closer to 1 in 4.

As someone pointed out, it's not an all time high either. So you were wrong about that too.

Anyhow, your earthquake didn't happen, so once again, face palm and epic fail for ATS.

Funny! I woke up this morning and turned on the news. EARTH DAY, they exclaimed! Then your thread from earlier this month dawned on me and whaddya know.... your at the top of the discussion columns!

My friend, I do wholeheartedly believe that one can have premonitions of future events, as have I in the past. The signs are not always so clear as to what exactly will happen and when though. I have seen mine in dreams, which might make for a good thread actually.

You seem to be on to something here so far. Thanks for the heads up! We should all be on the lookout, just in case.

Poeple who post predictions on ATS should be given a warning straight from the get go, telling the OP or poster that hoaxes and lies will not be tolerated, then Banned when said date arrives and nothing happens!!
What scares me is the fact people can be taken in by these threads which can cause stress and worry for some.
I remember when Dark Knight posted the end of world and his move to tibet, he was telling people to look for caves on high ground, this was a terrible thing to post, he had no idea of peoples ages or if they had any experience in pot-holeing or climbing, yet people were following his every word.

I hope that you can live with your conscience and yourself if this is all just a hoax!

Since you are relating this to Good Friday; I am guessing this is a Christian perspective. The last sign is cosmic disturbances, not an earthquake. The best thing you, or anyone else can do, is to be ready at all times. Speculation is just that. Speculation.

If you are using christ (a position of the heart and mind) to enslave, retribute, revenge, scare, anger, exclude, divide, conquer, instill guilt, shame and blame, hide it all behind the word justice and accountability..it is not of God(period)

Really, what's the point in defending myself against the naysayers. If I was mistaken and mislead by several coincidences and at the end of the day nothing happens, the naysayers will still come back to mock or whatever response they have in mind. Attempts at defending myself now won't make a lick of difference. Probably not.

And if I somehow turn out to be right, a self-defence now would have not been necessary.

Am I right or wrong about that?

Final warning to everyone reading this.

Do you really think you will become privvy to some unknown event via a conspiracy website?

Even if you do, what do you think YOU can do to change it?

Nothing, you cannot do anything.

So what is the difference from not knowing, and knowing and not caring?

Faith.

In a way, I agree and disagree with this at the same time.

He seems to be onto something here...hmmmm, well ANYONE who makes a claim that they have "predicted" an earthquake is ALWAYS onto something, if you think about it. The eventuality of an Earthquake on the West coast (and for that matter anywhere at all on Earth) is a given... sooo, at one point, SOMEONE is going to be right. Mathematics dictates that. In this respect, I disagree that he is on to something, or perhaps more, that he isn't "onto something" anymore than those who already monitor earthquakes are.

As far as always being prepared, absolutely, I agree.

*sigh* why must I always be so torn about my own feelings

I live in Canada. I think the ground would shake where I live but not bring down the house. It sure would be something if the OP became a casualty in a fulfilment of his own prediction.

Some peoples elites should just stay out of america and stop trying to kill our way of life. Do u like 1 world gov.t? You know, alot of peoples around the world do not, contrary to said beliefs of untruths. I blame the fascist elites wanting a one world gov't. The 12 headed snakes, are so inflated, they think they are trully gods, for us to bow to. They are truly the cause of greed which ultimately leeds in the destruction of nations so that they can be in control of the world. It does not take a genius to figure out that a load of bull is fed to them, and we the peoples are being forced in a corner. Do you know what happens when you push a wild animal into a corner? Try it sometime. They took your guns away, i'm sure they will take more. Don't think you are anyone special to these peoples, your not. I believe the inflated facists heads should stay out of gov't period, DO YOU AGREE? I myself do not like our childrens, children being ruled by a bunch of inflated facsist biggots who control the peoples to an utter slavery state, or world. THIS ANIMAL, when backed into a corner, will do exactly what an animal backed in a corner will have to do. Do you agree?

Stand up for yourself. If you are right, awesome. If not then just as well. There's no shame in being wrong, and if the naysayers come back to flex their internet muscles and laugh so what. At least you are standing up for what you believe in, instead of knocking everyone else's beliefs like they do.

Remember Stand up for something or you'll fall for anything.

I remember that too, but I think his "prediction" revolved around the 2012 calendar, if memory serves me, so I'm not sure if that can be classified a hoax just yet...although the point is still valid, if anyone followed his lead, and they were VERY ill-prepared to do such a thing, it has serious implications for something that may have started innocently enough.

Oh thank you so very muchly for your kind regards to our economy. What gets me through and through is, When the americnan economy crashes, the entire world will fall right behindus. As the world knows americans are spoiled. Yet you tend to forget we buy yoru goods. Crash us and we stop buying your goods, then tell me this where would your paycheck come from? russia, india, china all those countries that are growing in prosperity is influenced by what we americans spend our money on....Thing is, here in america we will make it through the worse, to prevail stronger. I believe if our economy crashes as we come out of it, we will begin to buy less and less from abraod and open more and more factories here to bring our economy back...

You're right about the nay-sayers. No matter what you say or do, you can't change someone else's opinion... so don't even try, but at the end of the day you can look at yourself in the mirror and know that you did what you had to. You have that peace in your heart, so don't bother with those who find flaws.. This is your prediction, your heart and your need to let others know IN CASE it's true. I bet you of all people hope it isn't. If I ever experienced what you had, I don't know if I'd have the guts to tell anyone.

Look at it this way, if you hadn't told anyone and it did happen, would you be able to face yourself in that mirror?
