Two children killed themselves. It is a terrible tragedy. I don't know what you said, but to judge by the reaction, it was terrible.
Just don't okay?

32, had a good friend kill himself about 10 years ago. Sure i was sad for a few days since I actually knew him.

Compassion, like religion, is best kept to yourself.

I am just curious... Why is compassion best kept to oneself? Sounds like compassion should be spread, to me. Otherwise it has no purpose. Otherwise, the young do not learn it.

I would much rather have compassion overflowing this world than have it bottled in the ones who have learned it and no one teaching it.

And frankly, it is compassion for the families I have - the girls are gone and cannot benefit from any of the feelings we may have or not have. The families are the ones who must deal with the loss. Did you feel compassion for your friend's family?

Totaly agree with you, natural selection did its job.

Seriously, you all cry over 2 dead teenagers, but dont even care about your next door fellowman.

Nones forced thems to die, so, they made a choice.

SNIP

I will point out that this is a forum, and as such, all view civilly presented are welcome. If we onl;y allowed people we agree with post, our education will be stunted and we may be stuck in a paradigm which is untrue.

I wouldn't get rid of this thread. Those who lack compassion, or think it is something we should hide, allow us to evaluate our own stance and behavior.

What are you on about you bloody nutcase. The two people are dead and the families have to live with the pain. When YOU or that trash Viper experience something like this, and people tell you to that your close ones were as described in this thread, then suck it up. Youse can't even handle some criticism for your callous bull#! This thread should be canned, I'd rather be banned here myself by the mods who are not doing their job than read this friggen # from you lot of disgusting pigs!

Sure, it also serves as a great learning tool of the depravity and callousness of some called humanity. I'm glad therefore, that if those posts are to provide readers with an education of sorts, then I trust my posts are equally as educational and civilly presented (as you put it) and should be welcomed, though that is subject to Mod's interpretation.

Some people are simply born defective. If they choose to remove themselves from the gene pool, why should anyone feel bad?

Why? because you have no clue what they may have become. Lest you think that all those who attempt suicide are simply genetic dead weight, allow me to school you with a list of people, all of which have made a MUCH larger impact on the world than you likely have....are all of these people simply the results of damaged genes, which should be removed from the gene pool? If you honestly think so, then I recommend you not be a hypocrite and make an effort as to no longer enjoy anything they contributed to society....After all...if they had been succesful you would have never heard of them, and seeing as how you believe a suicide of someone you do not know personally has no effect on you, then prove it, by attempting to live a life free of any in this groups influence.

OH FFS MODS GET RID OF THIS VIPERCHILL! I'D RATHER BE BANNED FROM THIS SITE THAN HAVE THIS GUTLESS PRICK POSTING HIS ROTTEN CRAP ON HERE!

Lol, he has every right to share his opinion as everyone else does. Just because people do not agree with it does not mean it should be removed altogether. Everyone has their right to express themselves, whether it be good or bad.

On topic since I can't be arsed for the bickering Yes, the kids made a choice and their deaths were the consequence of that choice. I urge more people to understand that. Was it right to do so? Ofcourse not, now their parents are probably mourning over their deaths, they could have simply followed their lives and at least tried to help themselves be happier, hell they may have helped other people as well.

Even I had wanted to kill myself for a long time (5+ years) and you would think I am mentally disabled? xD Lol you would probably troll and say yes. What made me want to kill myself? This world, the horrible things that people can do to each other and how many black hearted people there are in the world; growing happy over other people's sadness. It's the horrible human species that makes me want to kill myself, the fact that we only ever care about ourselves and never for each other. Obviously there are some that care for even strangers, but this system is designed for people to only care about themselves. In education you only work for your own grades, and when you're in work you only work to gain money for yourself, it's just the way it is. The kids were probably just unloved and simply decided "no one cares for me, I may as well die", they probably could not find much point in living so they took their own lives; I feel sorry for them but what's done is done. People should stop mourning over kids who HAVE killed themselves and start worrying about those who MAY kill themselves.

One little quote I think is relevant to those who only ever really care for themselves:

First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out - because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the communists
and I did not speak out - because I was not a communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out - because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me -
and by then there was no one left to speak out for me.

-The German anti-Nazi activist, Pastor Martin Niemöller

Love to you all

I don't think this is anything new, just the internet allows the news to get out there.

The thing about participating in forums is that you have no idea who you are talking to.

The individuals who say the suicides of these two young girls was not a tragedy may well be young people themselves who have never experienced tremendous loss.

Never mind, through some terrible loss, the universe will eventually teach them compassion.

As Einstein said, "God does not play dice."

So...

Is this thread about todays teen's offing themselves (its not)

or is it about some troll on the internet?

Anyhow, getting on topic (novel concept, aye?) This is not overly new..typically they "attempt" suicide though for whatever reason..be it boys, or some other such nonsense.

I guess not much is known about these girls...such as religion, were they practicing silly things like witchcraft (not to be confused with wicca), were they in those chan.org baww channels talking with the suicide groups? What is their motivation and such beyond typical teen angst?

and erm..if you don't like what this viper twit is saying..just ignore em...stop feeding the trolls already ya n00bs.

What is going on in the mind of children and teenagers these days? Maybe it is how their minds are adapting to the outside world and what they understand in their eyes. This is a terrible event. Hopefully we can stop this from happening.

My family experienced two suicides a week apart. They were not teenagers, but I felt they never really grew up. What can be done to "stop this from happening"? I have always believed that, once a person has their mind made up to commit suicide, very few are saved or interrupted. I think the majority of people that are saved while in the midst of carrying out this act really don't want to die. They are just screaming out for help. I also think there have been some that didn't really want to die, but nobody was available to help.

I don't think there is much we can do other than try to be more compassionate, attentive and be willing to get involved in another human's life. If just one person showed some love and made these people feel special would it have made a difference? I don't know, but I'll never stop trying. It's far too easy to say "Hey, I have problems too, but I'm not attempting suicide!" or "It's not my problem. I don't know them." We had no idea these two family members were in such a state that this could happen. Granted, they weren't around much at all towards the end. That was a choice they made so they could do what they did. They knew that if they were around the whole family we would notice something a bit off.

I've been reading this thread FeraVerto created, as well as many others from different authors, and I am glad I sat back for a while to post. It allowed me the ability to put on ignore those that act like morons before I had to read anything they may post after my posting.

I like a good debate, but some people are just clueless and there is nothing you can say to help them.

It says in every Religion around the world not to commmit suicide.

At least of those I read twenty years ago.

I know this is an inconsiderate comment; But what are you fighting?

A man can even go into the woods and sirvive if neceassary no matter what modern so called delusion.

A child can often get deluded apatheticalmusic.

Just as in....

Suicide is apathy, don't do it.

Your life has worth, always.
