Obama may have a criminal past.

Everyone realizes that the more this topic is discussed, the less believable it gets, right? Why you ask rhetorically? You see, there may be a shred of truth to this, unfortunately the "birther" movement got hijacked by those who make up out right lies and thus discredit the entire movement.

In fact, with every lie the truth that you seek becomes buried under lie after lie until no one can find it. ccponzi responded to my post by stating that President Obama had something to do with a Kenyan massacre due to his relationship with the Kenyan Dictator. To prove the point she posted an article from Newser.com about his grandfather being arrested by British forces, tortured and sexually assauted. Then she wondered if this was the reason he was a CIA stooge.

The article was about British forces putting down a Kenyan revolt and killing 50,000 Kenyans, if anything, this implicates the British in murder...not the POTUS! How, in the name of truth, does this implicate President Obama? That's what is happening to your truth!

One other item of note...Why do folks (such as myself) bring up the previous administration when discussing the current? Well, all Presidents are compared and judged by what their predecessors have done. Reagan was compared to Carter, Carter was compared to Ford, Ford to NIxon and so on. I remember the crap that was thrown at President Bush and I found it despicable and I will not stand by while another President is mocked and slandered. IF YOU HAVE CREDIBLE EVIDENCE, PLEASE POST IT.

Do I agree with most of his policies, no. Did I agree with policies of previous administrations, no. One thing I didn't do was make up lies about those in power, I didn't need to, there was enough truth(actual truth) to make my case against the administration.

When your sources are bloggers, you're really not taken seriously.

Well, anyway, his (my) post so frightened the moderators that they moved the topic over here to this forum. As if continually trying to hide the truth is going to make the truth go away.

First, let me sincerely apologize for using "she" when addressing you, figured I had a 50/50 chance. That's why I stay away from Vegas.

That said, instead of discussing the facts you immediately cry foul against the Mods for moving your thread. A thread, I might add, that is baseless and offers no evidence to support your claim(s). That's the other problem I have with these types of threads.

So, there is no hard evidence of President Obama being either a domestic or international criminal. I will give you credit for bringing to light the British government's massacre of 50,000 Kenyans and their use of torture in dealing with rebels.

Okay, now you're citing a forum from City-Data? I mean, I love that website and used it the last time I moved because that's the type of website it is. I didn't realize they had that type of forum as I never signed up, just needed to look at potential cities. But, really, you're citing a YouTube video posted on that website...really?

So it seems a young Senator got dupped while travelling in a foreign country. That's about it on this one. I mean, I was expecting to see him threatening Kenyans with a machete or something. Nope, nothing like that, just a naive Senator screwing up and the Secretary of State coming to his rescue.

The one thing I love is you really don't try to make an argument, in fact you don't say much and that happens a lot in these threads. No real indictment or statement, just an open ended question such as the one I've quoted.

So tell me, did he violate the Logan Act? I would think if he had, he'd be censored or the conservative administration would have made a bigger stink about it. What is your opinion so we can discuss.
