Anyone who doesn't think that Obama's past is not strange, is truly bewildered.

There are many 'rumors' as to how and why Obama was recruited by the CIA, by dint of Obama's experience in the many civil wars of Kenya.

Let's start with this story, a tale that would make a thinking person what shaped Obama's mind:

Newser) – British jailers tortured Barack Obama's grandfather during the struggle for Kenyan independence, his family tells the Times of London. Hussein Onyango Obama, who worked as a cook for a British army officer, was arrested in 1949, aged 56, and imprisoned for two years. There he was subjected to daily whippings and horrific sexual torture that left him permanently scarred, according to his widow, Sarah Onyango.

Obama's grandfather was arrested during the Mau Mau rebellion, when the British killed up to 50,000 Kenyans in response to the deaths of just 32 Europeans. His widow describes torture with "castration pliers," a brutal practice documented in a Pulitzer-winning history of the independence struggle. In his autobiography, Dreams From My Father, the president-elect mentions that his grandfather was jailed for "more than six months" but provides no detail.

There are now 3 or 4 other threads now that are flagging different issues/skeletons etc about Obama's past.

Are they all false? Not likely!

3 illegal wars

I would agree that the war in Iraq, based completely on lies, is indeed illegal. Just keep in mind that it was started by G.W. Bush and since taking office, Obama has done everything in his power to insure that we are out of there as soon as possible. The war in Afghanistan was initiated as a direct response to a terrorist attack against this country and even though it was initiated by Bush, I would hesitate to state that's it an illegal war. Was going to war with Japan after their surprise attack on Pearl Harbor illegal as well? When it comes to Libya, I'm still undecided, but in his defense I have to state that Obama only took action, as one of many nations, in support of a United Nations resolution to do so, which is how it's supposed to work. Something that Bush never bothered with prior to our invasion of Iraq. I know that "you're a smart person" so could you please list the actual statutes that you're accusing Obama of violating?

Originally posted by neo96 gitmo is still open

The reason that Gitmo is still open is due to the fact that closing the prison and putting the prisoners on trial would result in the truth about the Bush administrations refusal to abide by the Geneva Conventions. It would surely result in the first prosecution of an American President for crimes against humanity. If the truth were told, I feel confident that Bush would eventually suffer the same fate as did Saddam Hussein. I can't even imagine what type of rhetoric that the radical right wing conservatives would be promoting if he allowed this to happen. If you really do like Bush, then you should be thanking Obama for his lack of action when it comes to closing Gitmo.

I on the other hand, would have closed Gitmo and welcomed the prosecution of Bush & Cheney for crimes against humanity even if it resulted in them being put to death, but then I'm white and I could give a # less about what the radical right wing thinks about me.

the executive power to assinate us citizens

I agree that assassinating U.S. citizens is wrong but then so is assassinating anyone. On the other hand, I could be wrong, but I don't think that Obama was the president who initiated this particular executive power. I believe it was Bush who instigated the policy and Obama just agreed not to eliminate the "executive" authority to order these assassinations. Either way, I definitely agree that the practice is just plain wrong and should be eliminated.

he continues to steal from the american people

Could you be more specific? What exactly is it that he's stealing from the american people?

he continues to print money out of thin air.

When you say "he" continues to print money, are you talking about the Federal Reserve Bank which I doubt he, Obama, has very little if any control over?

he continues to increase americas liabilites,

Since when did this become a crime? If this is a crime then there is a whole list of ex-presidents who are guilty of the same infraction. I find it kinda odd that Obama is the only one to be accused of these "crimes." Are you sure that there isn't some other underlying reason for these unfounded right wing accusations? I don't know, could it be their total inability to accept the election of our first non-white president? Just asking.

By the way, I have a brother who thinks he's smart too.

Well, when people attack high unemployment and taxes, they seem to forget that things weren't much better under Bush.

I know you can't really answer a rhetorical question but I do believe that if you mention these three issues (taxes, war and unemployment), that these things also existed under GWB.

Huh???

Lower unemployment rate, lower debt, lower gas prices, lower food prices. Sure looks like it was better.

Wait, what? What 3 wars are you referring to? Libya I will agree, but please tell me you are not referring to Afghanistan, Iraq or even Pakistan. All three have been raging. President Obama is just continuing.

So just because he did not start them, only continues them does not make him a criminal, if the war is demmed illegal?

So, when you are in the bank as it is getting robbed, after the robbers leave, you take some money too. You aren't a criminal?

The thread title is kind of amusing to me because Obama used coc aine and I'm pretty sure that that's illegal. But he still got elected when that was common knowledge. It's sickening and shameful that anyone would vote for a presidential candidate who used coc aine. The worst of all are the clowns who think it's unreasonable to demand he show his real birth certificate.

If Obama is getting up so many American noses, why don't ya'll vote for Ron Paul in the next election, he's about the only one on the republican side who is coherent, articulate and commonsensible, and he will shake any of those senators out of their trees, republican or democrat with his no-nonsense approach. Anyway these threads are a bit sus' when this is the time for opinon pollsters ahead of October monday mid-term elections.

Even Harvard students who graduated in Obama’s year said they had never seen him in one of their classes. There have never been any photos found of him or papers written by him while at Harvard.

Obama may have a criminal past…

Trump is correct, Barry Soetoro, AKA Obama is hiding something in his past that is very bad… and it may not be his citizenship. (Trump would not say this if he did not know something and he has the money to get the dirt…)

a12iggymom.wordpress.com...

Anyone "may have" a criminal past, but without proof this is just another speculation written by a blogger on a random website.

If I believed every random blogger then I would be a schizo by now.

Once again, another political smear post with shoddy bulls.... story from another fake.

Friggen skunkworks article.

according to some people on this website bush was a criminal and obama is not

Yes, this is a big campaign promise broken but does it make him criminal?

and again bush was a criminal for opening it and obama runs it now and hes not a criminal

Agreed. But so has Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter and so on and so on. It is a fiat currency based on a countries output and nothing tangible of sorts. To lay it squarely upon Obama's shoulders is disingenuous to say the least.

but it does lay squarely on his shoulders with the deficit has high as it is and the continual flooding of cash into the economy there is but one outcome :hyperinflation

but all these things are the same things bush was decried of for 8 years.

the purpose of that post to to show how hypocritical some people are on here.

bush was a criminal and obama is not when the both have done the same things

Stay classy, birthers. Stay classy.

Seriously why do people need to defend him, have you seen the Gas prices? have you seen how many people are still without a job? just admit your guy has been a complete failure.... I am for one sick of being taxed to death, for this retards failed policies. can the Obama lovers just give it up...

You have it all wrong, my friend. People here defend the truth. This article is complete bull. Do some factchecking.

Using a random blog as a source is completely he said she said bullcrap. It falls in the same line as he said she said.

Again if there were any merit to any of these claims against Obama you can bet your arse we would have heard about it as the republicans would have been yelling until their voices gave out. Honestly, the office of the president is the most vetted position on earth, by BOTH sides.

you honestly think the repubs just went to sleep on this? Come the F on, you know as well as I do if any of this were true, the birth certificate, all that jazz, he would have never made it to the election.

desperately grasping at straws.....

If you guys hate him so much, which you should he's possibly worse than Bush, maybe spend some of your energy on getting out there at the grass roots level to remove him from power? ever think of actually trying to change things instead of desperately looking for justification for hating Obama?

you have all the justification in the world, no transparency, bail outs, extended wars, additional wars, economic crash, seriously you have all the ammo you need without resorting to stupid birth certificate shenanigans.

Ohh yes it's completely improbable that there are 3-4 false posts about Obama coming from blogs that lean directly opposite (e.g. conserative) Especially from great news sources such as a guy whose opening statement on the site is:

"November 2008 this country elected not only a “Progressive” but an outright Marxist, Socialist, radical, to the highest office of this land, “President of the United States of America.”

Pfft.

If he is so radical, socialist, Marxist then why is he so damned Moderate with the GOP.

So yes, rediculous.

You know how the economy works right? You should read some real economics out there (non partisan ones) and see what they think.
