Guys, why are you arguing with each other when it has been clear from since your first posts that you both dislike racism? Both sides have twisted and misrepresented the other sides stance on things, so now what? SirKightE can dislike something or someone if he wants, this does not equate hate or racism. I believe he clearly stated in his first post that he dislikes anyone (White,Black,Brown,Green) who hates him because he is Black, and he has every right to do so. Both sides are equally 'guilty' of twisting and misrepresenting the other sides view, let us move on now. There were plenty of others who self-admittedly voiced their racist views here, so why not address them?

This thread was not created so people who both dislike racism could argue with each other, that is ridiculous and counter-productive.This thread was created so people who have what might be deemed as racist views could voice these views with honesty, and so others who dislike racism could discuss with them why these views may not be valid or productive. Although he did state that, he did continue on to make statements with racist undertones.
Hidden racism in my opinon, is worse in many cases.

Yes, this is also something you both agree on, as he said that in his first post.

There is already a wall between 'left and right' creating two sides, you both stand on the same side, do not build a wall on that side also, creating more divisions. Come together and break down the wall that separates 'left and right' so we all can move forward together.

There were no black kids in my school. We didnt even THINK about black white racism while I was growing up. One, the blacks and whites were mostly military. Two in Hawaii, its the Hawaiian way, and we could really care less what the crazy mainlanders think, feel, or fight about. As far as I knew, growing up watching Sesame Street, all that stupid crap was over and done with. We had/have our own issues, and you flatter yourself that we even thought twice about the whole southern thing. We didnt.

Stop assuming people hate you because your black. Being black has nothing to do with it.

The funny thing about hate is that it is always the "Haters" problem. It doesn't matter what you hate, hate is your problem and stems from your own bias. If you worked on eliminating hate from your own world view, you would see that you are doing nothing more than despising other's for being themselves and not conforming to your own concept of right and proper in the world. Hate comes from the ego and is the ego's way of trying to control it's whole world. No man can control the whole world. It is not Man's place to control the whole world.

You will know you have mastered the process of eliminating hate from your heart when you can love even the haters. I have in my time defended even racists. They do have a right to formulate their world view and hating them in return for their hate only reinforces it. What do you do when someone gets self righteous with your own opinions? Don't you get defensive and build walls around it, defend it against each attack until you despise the person offering a different world view?

The secret to destroying hate in all of it's forms in this world is to always meet it with unconditional love. Accept it, love it, and the fear and misunderstandings which cause it will subside.

I remember one time I was riding with my dad through Baltimore and he happened to see some young black kids walking down the street with their pants riding low exposing their boxers underneath. He commented that someone should go yank them up for them and that we needed laws against such behavior. I chuckled.

I let the issue slip away for about 5 minutes as we drove through town. When it seemed the initial point he had made passed into oblivion, I looked over and said, You may want to buckle up, it is the law you know...

He despises wearing a seat belt, so he gave me that "What the hell" look and replied, "No man tells me what to do with my own damn body!". I chuckled again.

It took about 2 minutes for my point to set in, but he did eventually get it. He looked at me once more and said, "You know what, screw you!" jokingly of course.

Never again from that day did he comment about anothers dress. Quite the opposite, he raised my siblings with the freedom to express themselves how ever they chose.

Some times a little reflective rhetoric is all it takes to get one to see past their bias and realise that inside us all is a HUMAN BEING yearning to be free, but all the time it takes unconditional love. Our judgements are what stand in the way.

The only places in black Africa that have any sort of infrastructure/systems are former WHITE colonies. Look at any city in the US with a majority black population and notice how it leads in poverty, drugs, violence and welfare. Sorry but it's not coincidence. Black culture is a MASSIVE failure and it's a shame Liberia didn't turn out as expected.

In short it's not that I think whites are above everyone else it's that blacks (collectively and culturally) are below everyone else. The facts support my point of view.

Why are these black cities like that? I assure you that it's not because blacks want it that way, but it is all they have ever known. The black population in America is like that because they have been made pawns of the progressive movement. They are told that if they vote democrat then the entitlements will keep coming, and they do but it is only enough to keep them voting Democrat. What blacks are really doing by voting Democrat is perpetuating the problem and keeping themselves in poverty. Another reason is due to the public education system. Considering that the majority of funding for public schools comes from property taxes it is no surprise that inner city schools are sub standard. There aren't very many property owners in the inner city; they all rent or live in gov't housing, so the schools in those districts must be subsidized. Another reason is the zoning of congressional districts. If you have never done so look up a map of your state and how it is zoned. The problems that you mention are real and I'm not disputing them, but black people need to wake up and take ownership of their culture and their lives, instead of relying on the government to support them. Of course there are plenty of blacks that don't fit in to this category, so if you are black and reading this then please forgive me if I am generalizing.

I can appreciate your honesty about being a racist, but it's real easy to be that honest on the internet, when you can hide behind your anonymity.

Fitch, You are the sh!t...(complement) I love you more than most the population on ATS... You are truthful and honest.
Your perception may not be 100% accurate but atleast you can honestly state how you feel.. I am drawn to people who make me feel comfortable in their presence; race has absolutely nothing to do with it. I detest the very subject of race and would be uninterested in closely associating with anyone who makes it an issue.
