I couldn't bring myself to watch the remake.
But that's the first time I remember the aliens not just wanting to eat us/enslave us etc.

Oddly enough, the year after the Roswell crash (or whatever it was), we had a 15 part serial about the poster boy for "Aliens Are Good", Superman.
So I guess the heroic "Strange visitor from another planet" predates The Day The Earth Stood Still.

No actually, this form is not the best for what we do. This is why we make robots with forms that ARE for what they do. The human body is good for spear throwing and running while hunting. This is what this form optimized for. To through spears and run down our food. Everything we've done since then is irregardless to this form.

Reason with me. Of all the species of Earth, how many have this form? 2. Penguins and man. Of those, 1 has intelligence. of all the species that have ever existed, some 100 million +, how many have had this form? Maybe 10 tops. Of the species today, how many are just bellow our intelligence? Dolphins, apes, crows, elephants, whales. yet none show any sign of becoming more human in form. anywhere in their evolutionary history. Now lets expand that criteria. After all, tarantulas are smart enough to go from side to side of their cages, slowly removing the top and being able to escape. Yet they've had the same forms since before dinosaurs. Octopus and cuddle fish are as smart as dogs and some are even quite social, yet they're just blobs with brains.

In fact, just where exactly do you see this tendency to look like man as intelligence increases? Even we humans have had this form since before we were intelligent. The first species to have the humanoid form some 5 million years ago was just a little smarter than an ape, probably as smart as a dolphin.

So what makes us so successful? Actually, that's independent of our form. because what made us so successful is something called behavioral modernity, that developed some 50,000 years ago. A full 4 million years after the human form had evolved to pretty much a general shape of what it is today.

Evolution, by and large, dictates that aliens will not look human. That's using simple observation, common sense, and probability.

I don´t said anything about the FBI document but nice try. I read the newspaper clips from the Roswell incident and there ridicilous explanation with the weather balloon. I guess you really don´t care about this do you? If you do just look them up and read it very carefully especially the eyewitness reports who described the objects shape but never a weather balloon should look like.

Actually, if you read the "Roswell UFO" document it describes the "disc" as being suspended by cables from a balloon aprox 20 ft in diameter.... If memory serves it has since been revealed that the "disc" was an at the time top secret detector of Atomic explosions, designed to keep track of the Russian atomic bomb program....

OK, this is defiantely strange. My question though is why did the FBI even go through the trouble of reveleaing this document and posting it on their website for the public? I mean obviously there is some kind of motivation behind it. The FBI doesnt just go around releasing all their info to the masses. They won't tell us what they really know about 9/11, Kennedy assasination, but they're giving up their intel on Roswell? That tells me somethings going on. Also, whether it is real or not, obviously the FBI believes its real enough to release to the public, and that tells me that there is something much bigger in the works, that they must be prepping us for. Because why wouldnt they just continue to keep it secret like they have for the past 60 years, The document says it was filed in 1950, what made them feel as though they needed to tell us NOW....? Something strange is going on if you ask me....
Could it be Blue Beam, there has been a lot of Government info on ufo's/aliens lately, or maybe they're just going to give us what they know and be honest, but i highly doubt that. Maybe they know that ET's are about to reveal themselves, or maybe there has been some kind of ground breaking discovery that proves without a doubt that our ancestors were visited and in contact, Hell for all we know maybe Elenin is really Nibiru and they know before long they wont be able to keep it from us. I have a question regarding the Roswell incident. Why would a species that has the capability to travel incredible distances at incredible speeds utilizing, according to many believers, anti-gravity propulsion systems, somehow be able to crash one of their crafts? Ooops, I guess they are lacking in the safety computational technology. Oh crap, we forgot our air bags, but we have the technology to travel to distant galaxies?

This is the common sense that really keeps me sceptic. If an alien race has the technology we attribute to them, I highly doubt they would be crashing all over the world. Their computers would be so incredibly sophisticated that it shouldn't even be a possibility. And according to this memo, our radar systems interfered somehow with their navigation systems? Come on, you have to be kidding me.

Now I am not saying it isn't possible, but don't you guys think it's a little bit rediculous? I guess they aren't as smart as we make them out to be if they are crashing... They must be the Americans of outer space.

UFO believers are as devout and crazy fundamentalists as Christian evangelists, they believe so hard and so fervently they damn anyone who is skeptic and they show hearsay as proof.

SYNOPSIS:

An Air Force investigator made a statement to a Special Agent of the FBI that we have three alien craft each of which had three small alien beings in them, wearing metallic suits.

BUT because apparently some other people knew the same story and had talked about it, people would rather believe the investigator LIED to the FBI.

That's got to be the worst, most ignorant investigator in the world!! Risking his career and life (probably) by discussing something "crazy" and telling it to the FBI. Do you honestly think he would have made a statement to the FBI if he had any doubts? It it were me, I would been EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAR this was other people's opinions and the statement made simply for the purposes of recording some peoples statements. It was not.

Just finished reading a newer book out called: "Mirage Men". It deals with all the disinformation perpetuated by the government regarding the UFO issue. There's so much noise between and within the government and the UFO community, as well as the news media, that it's absolutely impossible to know what's what and who's telling the truth. Apparently, that's the way our government wants it. I recommend this book highly to anyone interested in the subject. Anyway, I'm a little skeptical of this document, looks a little bogus to me; could be a hoax or more disinformation. But, I hope I'm wrong.

I see your point, but you might be missing mine.

What makes us so successful is the form of body we took. We are tall, brain case at the top, eyes ears smell attached at the top so we can see everything we need to and accurately judge distance since we are tall enough that the grass does not cover us... We stand upright, we have arms that let us create everything including this computer.

The examples you named are lame, a penguin or a dolphin could never become an intelligent sentient species, they could be intelligent, but they are not the BODY type. The only other body type on this earth that could replace us one day as an intelligent sentient species is our primate brothers. The only difference is they don't walk.. but they could in a few million years..

So the human body form is obviously the best sentient intelligent species type, plus, any other form would not fit well with cars or planes or spacecraft.

And the FACT that the only intelligent species that has ever roamed this earth and decided not to kill each other and work together to create technology, were humans, because we have ARMS to make technology. No other species on this planet utilizes the environment around it to create items that improve their survival rate such as spears knives ect. I think i even read somewhere that it has been documented that primates use pointy sticks to hunt with. THAT IS ONLY POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF THE HUMANOID BODY FORM.

And any intelligent species that cannot enter space is not really what im talking about here. I mean dolphins could be 100x smarter than humans, but they could never create technology because they dont have ARMS.

Why does it ABSOLOUTLEY have to be aliens that crashed at Roswell why not humans , why is it so hard to believe it was just US that crashed at Roswell ...

Everything you see around you today every single little tiny detail of technology...figure 60 years to 120 years in advance in technology. In military (Black) technology.

Just to let you guys know....our technology is so advanced it will blow your mind...we just cant afford it..literally , one aircraft that is highly classified...cost about 811 billion US dollars. The triangle UFOs you think are aliens? They cost about 1.3 Trillion US dollars.

Aliens are very real , but they arnt playing as big a role as you think they are.

Also , use your head a little. They dont care if you believe in aliens (to a degree) , you believe in aliens ..the less you wonder where we are getting the money to fund these projects...they want you to believe in aliens and yet have a uncertain doubt where you will not know for sure

Just the brain friend, not the body. While these hands help a lot, they are not the be all and end all. Think of a crow. It makes spears, hunts bugs with them, and builds architecturally interesting forms in their nests, No hands ma! It's because they are literally built AS a hand. Their beak is like a thumb and their feat like fingers. This is called scale change. The same function, different form. You are only thinking us because you probably have not seen anything else. It's just a fact. i too thought this until I started looking at nature and realizing that, as they said in Jurassic Park, "life finds a way". Not everything has to look the same to do the same. Dolphin, for example, have already begun using their beaks and tails for activities. In a few million years this form could become more manipulatable to use items. It does not necessitate that they become human in form. Just the function of what makes us who we are, form is not important. Penguins, however, are a great example. because they HAVE had the upright form with all the same conditions as ourselves to breed intelligence, but they never did. And they've been around many more millions of years than us. The fact that you have the form does not necessitation you get the same results. Our dead cousins and ancestors prove this. Neanderthals, homo rhodalis, Homo erectus, and many many others all had the same forms as we did. So why did they go dead? They didn't have the brains. The form, as they testify to, did not help them in the end. It merely made them goo hunters. And that is what the human form is good for. hunting. Look at dinosaurs such as the raptors or terror birds. In fact, they share quite a lot of physical similarities to ourselves. But never in the 100 million years of their existence did they develop anything interesting in intelligence. The reason is simple. The form was not important. Only the function.

The reason mankind has succeeded is because 50,00 years ago, after the human form had been around for many millions of years already, something happened. Now we are not quite sure what this is, but it made us intelligent as we are today. It did indeed help that we had this form, and it did indeed help that we had larger than average brains already, but these things were not the be all and end all of becoming human. I return to Crows. All a crow would need would be to develop a more manipulatable beak and tongue, and it would be able to become a lot more intelligent. Already they are more intelligent than most apes, with a brain as big as a walnut. The reason is because they way they developed was that their brains became more efficient, rather than bigger. Thus they never needed to walk upright because they never had a big brain needing that. Thus they kept their dinosauroid forms.

And no, primates would definably not be where our replacements came from. bare in mind apes, too, have been around for many millions of years longer than ourselves. They go back to the dinosaurs. And for 50 million years there after pretty much never changed. One group of these creatures happened to get stuck in a situation that they had to walk upright because they no longer had the same environment. in fact, walking upright was not because of our big brains. It was because we lost our trees. big brains were enabled as a result of walking upright. But as I mentioned, you don't need a big brain to be intelligent. So thus you don't need to look human to be like a human in intelligence.


I ask you to go out into nature and see how creatures do things. Specifically the smarter ones. Then imagine how they could do them better. BUT don't allow your mind to use human forms. Finds something else. if you can think it up, then somewhere out there it is likely true. In fact, the more you think up, the less probable the human form IS true.

bare in mind also the idea that once an intelligent species evolves, it suppresses any other intelligences on the planet. This is why we are alone. We got rid of anybody who might be a close second. Thus the reason it looks like we are the best is not because we are, but because we killed off or out competed anything that had the chance to prove otherwise.


In conclusion, there's over 100 million species on this planet. There's a couple dozen that are higher intelligence. Of those, we are at the top. But realize that if ANYTHING was changed, we wouldn't be. And another species would have become optimized for intelligence.

Simply put, the biggest flaw in everything your saying is the fact that intelligence that we have today did not evolve along the same timeline as our form. it evolved after our form. And we see pieces of this intelligence in other species, begging to question if this form is needed at all.

a skeptic incidently can fully believe in advanced alien life travelling around and even visiting earth (I do), they simply want the proof before anything goes further. They will dismiss bookwriters telling you to fear the reptilian alien invasions, they will suggest not buying the galactic federation of light books on cd. they will tell you to avoid buying the finger of jesus, the beard of muhammed, the time machine on craigslist, etc...until such things are proven...it does not help any truthfinding at all to prop up unproven things and actually makes real proof more hidden.
disinformation is not denying something, but flooding the area with 100lbs of bullcrap. You got to weed through it, toss out the things that are without any backing, and try to find the truth.

And alas, you are a skeptic...however, your pretty close minded and so are only skeptical about the offical stories...a proper skeptic is skeptical about both the offical story, and the counter claims..

I have to wrap my head around this first, that's quite a big thing to handle before breakfast.

I have a feeling we are gonna get first contact soon, the main reason I think this, is because the Vatican, get this, are working to announce that the existence of E.T's are real. When you piece it together, with all the ufo movies and planet x etc, they are preparing us mentally for that moment.

I'm kinda thinking this might be the smartest way for the government to disclose this type of information. If they had a huge press conference, there would be all sorts of blowback, positive and negative. They'd have to do interviews, and explain explain explain. But if they did want to disclose, and yet not raise a public fuss, they'd probably do exactly this. They'd release a whole sh*t ton of declassified info on the web and then let us decide what to make of it. And if the public asks for disclosure they can now say "Hey, the files are on line for all to see" and not really have to explain anything. I kinda get the feeling they are slowly easing us into a new age. Perhaps an age of alien/human relations.
