No matter how you put it, Israel is an oppressed country compared to 99% of the Middle East that hate her, but yet she will stand because she is the apple of God's eye and nothing will change her position now or ever.

Save it for the bible freaks man. If there was a god with good intentions, Israel would have been eradicated a long time ago. God's true chosen would not act like the barbaric murderers that the current Israelis do.

Yeah of course, let Israel share her 1% of land with 99% of the land the muslim brotherhood/islam owns. As far as I am concerned that is oppression not letting Israel have her rights and more land.

Okay how about this to illustrate it..if you have a house, and you get thrown out of it, displaced, members of your family killed by the same people who took your home, what would you do? There would be wars on the streets. Would the people defending their homes be called terrorists? Of course not, you have to be a muslim and preferrably from the middle east to fit that criteria right?

I say that if the Israeli's want a place to live without fear or retaliation for the stolen land they live on, they should come to Canada. We are a very accepting multi-cultural society with plenty of land to spare. We could give them land the size of 10 Israels and no one would even notice. Canada also has a well organized Jewish community. But no... they want biblical Judea because the book their ancestors brainwashed them with told them that God gave them this land. This whole thing is so messed up and lacking logic that I don't even know where to begin or end.

I would be more than happy to have all the Gazans come here as well, at least here they could live a much better life. Mind you our government here in Canada is very corrupt, but it couldn't be any worse than living under the Zionazis.

The fact is that if surrounding countries cared about the Palestinians they would offer them safe refuge. There is plenty of land available outside of the disputed areas. But since keeping them confined in Israel serves propaganda purposes, the Arab world rather let them suffer to gain political points.

Now you can go on about "stolen land" all you want and how Palestinians "ought not" have to leave their own land. This is not reality though. Israel is a more technologically advanced and militarily stronger country. It also has a larger civilian population. Either the two sides fight it out without international intervention or the smaller, weaker one leaves and is granted asylum.

That is very well said, and clearly obvious.

Regrettably there are a large group of people who think otherwise. They are motivated either by false biblical teachings, vicious propaganda campaigns, hate and bigotry, lack of compassion... the list goes on.

There is no reasoning with people who think like this, and as long as they exist, we will always have problems such as this situation in Palestine. Luckily there are some good people who exist who can do what ever they can to show that the majority of the world stands behind Palestine, and against Israel. Just because a few loud mouthed propagandists spew their garbage over and over on the internet does not mean their argument holds any substance. It only shows how foolish they really are for actually believing the things they say.

They gained that land due to winning successive wars that were mounted against them. If Israel must give back land then so must many other countries that "won" their land through war as well. But nobody seems to focus on other parts of the world as much as the ME for some reason...

A war that is well documented that Israel attacked first...

But you still believe might=right ?

What if China or Russia decided they wanted Israel?
Would you be OK with a good old one on one or would you expect say the US to step in and help??

This means if the world steps back and does not interfere, Israel would beat them in a fight for the land (war). Since they cannot win in a war against Israel, they should leave. This is the system that happens elsewhere in the world. Israel also has the larger civilian population which means they should have right to the land since they are there already.

You are comparing land that was won through war in 1967 to a country invading another one today in 2011. It's comparing apples with oranges and you know that.

If China wants to invade Israel or Australia, theoretically the UN could not stop them and it would be a fight of one country against another. Did you notice how the UN couldn't prevent the US from invading Iraq?

I just dislike some of the actions of it's leaders..
Though I also say the same about the actions of many world leaders including the US and my own Australia..
