Anyone with a basic knowledge of zombie biology knows that they decompose at a much slower rate than a normal corpse. This is because the zombie virus solanum is fatal to ALL living things, yet only reanimates humans. Therefore the microscopic organisms and insects that play a role in a bodies decomposition would not be present and the only real factor would the weather. Obviously zombies will decompose more quickly in wetter/warmer climates but in more temperate drier areas the process will be much longer. Add to that any zombies that are in colder environments such as canada, northern europe, etc. where there is a freezing and thawing cycle, then you will have zombies popping up years, possibly decades from now to start new outbreaks (assuming the first one is contained). Since you are obviously ignorant of the zombie menace then perhaps you should read the Zombie Survival Guide, it may very well save your life one day.
