I too watched the video and while you're correct in it wasn't blatently said, most people with common sense and decent deductive reasoning skills will pull out the same linear points.

Here is the issue in a nutshell
the poor get treated for free and the tax payer has to pay for that...this is how it has been working all along
obamacare = pushing everyone to get some coverage so the government doesn't get hammered as bad with the poor...taking out the free ride. It also slaps the insurance companys to not try to squeeze every single nickle out of individuals and instead take a broad approach..cheaper but more walmart style.

short term tomorrow it will cost more to implement...long term, the savings will really pan out into trillions.

the right has an inability to see past next week for some reason...however, the function of government is not to make sure the republic is surviving next week, but in 100 years.

it was a good call, and no micro-example of how this will inflate the budget for a couple years will take that away. it will be considered a historical joke to read on how some people at the time simply never considered the long term implications due to a short term mindset...(why stitch it..stitches cost lots of money...band aids are cheaper and we can just buy more when they are used up)

Like I said earlier, you either bring this proposal to the front for all to see, or it will be done in the back where only the few will profit. It is going to happen anyway, it would be best if you would get involved. I'm not in Europe I'm in Canada, so i cannot say what day to day effects it had on the PEOPLE, but as you pointed out i guess the markets did not take to it to well. Why? was there something to be gained by it not working when it did and in the open the way it was? If it failed that means there are groups out there that wanted it to fail. It is that simple. If economics was based on a working balance sheet the US would be a welfare state begging for food right now...but it is not because the few don't want it to so it is that simple.

A communist dictator that had control of the banks and the commodities, is the answer to the whole mess, if the wealth is not shared or properly conserved, he/she will be swiftly removed. Frankly, however it comes about, I support it. I would prefer peace...but I am not opposed to iron fisted freedom ripping measures either if it comes to that.

Why? because I will only be on this earth for a few more years total...right now, earth is all we have, and deregulations and materialistic rapeing of the planet is quickly ensuring that there won't be too many generations left anyhow...someone needs to take control and regulate it all, then expand out into the stars simply to ensure the continuation of our species.

The people...the collective are retarded and demand "freedom" from having to do the right and wise things. They will gladly go on a scorched earth way of living to enjoy a bit of extra luxery and to hell with what people are doing 200 years from now.

As a person whom is fascinated more with where things are going than where they are now, I see our current way of life globally is unsustainable and bound to cause catastrophic consequences. many generations from now, this timeframe will be known as the cursed ones...the ones that nearly ended it all due to their mindset. Visionarys and leaders will bring us out of this (hopefully, so that future gens are around to curse us). We are mindless mongolians torching our own cities to squeeze a few extra coins out of it while growling at anyone whom suggests we should tone down a bit.

the southern part of the US once decided to pass on the whole union thingie..that didn't work out well for them and such talks were forever squashed.
