This is a still captured from the video, and I have drawn in arrows to mark 1) a cut in the hand/wrist area, which may indicate a defense attempt against perhaps an animal, and 2) a leaf with its blood that came out of that cut right next to the hand. If this is a hoax, it's got to be one of the best ever.

It might not be a hoax. It could be that some hungry animal like a brown bear, which are found in Italy, came upon this creature and a fight ensued. Who knows.

Lol, we are so used to hoaxes each and every time, if the real one slapped us in the face we'd just assume hoax as well. But this one is intriguing to me, for sure.

If thats a prop, it was hella expensive to produce.

if they have the money to make a prop like that. they have the money for a better camera.

if they wanted to make a hoax, they would have made more of an effort to show the creature.

if this were a hoax, and they spent all this time and money. why stay anonymous? wouldn't you want to make money off of tv interviews and whatnot? dont hoaxers want to be famous or at least have a sence of popularity??

If you want to make a hoax more convinving I think using lower grade camcorders or phones to record would do that...Because people immediately assume it must be real if it's come off a mobile (If you get what i'm saying). The big bad wolf says "All the better to hoax you with" lol

I don't know what to make of it to be honest. There are some petty excuses to try and debunk this like "Dogs not sniffing" and "blood doesn't look real" etc...But that is all irrelevant.

What doesn't make sense to me is, IF it is in fact real, where did it come from and what was it doing in the woods? ALONE (Well who's to say it didn't have company that got away). Maybe he was getting mouthy on the spaceship

The guy covering his mouth stood out for me too, as like I would do if I was walking past a dead rat or bird no matter the distance.

It's either a very elaborate and well thought out hoax or it is indeed real. But what is certain is if it is real and the government have recovred it, we will NEVER know. In fact we will NEVER even hear of this either way!

Yes they paid attention to detail except, most would be covering their nose and mouth with their shirt collar vs a prop. And would be gagging on the smell. While motioning and waving with disgust.

Ok, just put yourself in the dudes positions, and assume it is REAL for a second.

If it was me, knowing the immediate implications of what history-making evidence I had on that camera/phone, I would:

1) definitely mute audio. They did that.
2) would release as much footage of it as was taped. They did that.
3) would most definitely cover any faces to hide identity. They did that with a block over the face.
4) would take great care in hiding identity on the net prior to releasing. Betcha they did that too.
5) would probably get nervous and excited at first, until it sank in what I was looking at. And as soon as that happens, all kinds of thoughts and exchanges would be happening with partner. And critical point here. The dog will reflect the owner's excitement, and the dog does- although the dog doesn't understand WHY the humans are excited. But you can clearly see it wagging its tail for a minute. And yet still at other moments. And the dog is clearly very much interested in the body, until the owner pulls the dog back.

Not sure on the cave/bear idea, cause I can't see much of a blood trail into the cave hole. But it does appear the body was moving a bit prior to death. So if it wasn't an animal, then maybe a crash to sever the leg?

Anyone savvy enough to put a box over their face in a vid is good enough to stage a hoax. seriously,,,if you just discovered the "find of millennium" would you cover your face???? still a cool vid though

Here is another thing that looks consistent with animal teeth, bite marks, and claws or claw marks, as opposed to a crash induced severing of the limb, see black arrows I have drawn in:



If severed, that would be a more uniform tearing there instead of the way it looks, imo.

And as a side note, here is the only other video uploaded by that user on youtube, and it is pretty darn good too, showing lights that move in ways that really are like they are supposed to be!

One thing I noticed is that the body looks more "placed". The area around it is completely undisturbed. There are no drag marks around leaves at all. If you sustained an injury like that, there would no doubt be alot more blood due to the arterial nature of the upper legs.

The blood trail near the leg either shows arterial "squirt" or body movement. The ground shows no sign of a struggle nor drag reference of it's body due to missing the limb. Also where is all the blood? Does that mean it happened else where and if so, it must of dragged itself into that position (and died from blood loss), but the ground shows otherwise.

But aren't you making a pretty big assumption that aliens even HAVE main arteries? lol, but don't worry, it's no worse than my assumption that they can die from blood loss. For all we know their makeup is different, and they may not even have that much blood in them. And that's also assuming it's blood.

True and I whole heartily agree. But as most biological entities on this planet exist in this make-up I only have this evidence to go on. If nature uses "the golden ratio" to produce all living things in nature, on our planet and is even reproducible in our solar system and even galaxies, I'm going to have to say that "life" on other planets must adhere to "natures" design and it's architecture. I'm the last person to be naive about this but judging how "nature" produces things, it tends to have some very common elements and looking at the skeleton structure, I'm going to say it has some very similar human biological characteristics.

I should have buried that alien hooker. It's always the little things that come back to haunt you.

Perfect assessment, and exactly where I stand on it.

Now how about this, just for the heck of it, let's try to think of all the reasons this could be real instead of fake.

I'll add another one for the case:
The quality of the video. Phone camera or cheap camcorder. That's another plus. This is evident in the movement of the camera, which blurs as it moves. A pro camera, or at least better camera would not have these effects, and would more likely be used in a hoax.

As the video is shaky it is difficult to say whether or not it is latex(as a hobby I make full head latex masks for Halloween, I have experience with it).

The nostrils and mouth are too dark to say if they continue or are simply an impression or cavity.

As stated in other posts blood is not relevant because we do not know for sure the consistency or makeup of it.

I feel the dog is very well trained and obeys its owner to the tee. It would, IMO, be trying to figure out the smell a lot more if the smell was actually there and that bad. I think that it did not and was carefully placed in the video to add to the question.

The amount of blood was short IMO there should have been more.

The ground as stated in an earlier post is undisturbed and no sign of struggle is apparent.

I would like to leave this list of observations to look at the wound.
The missing appendage is nowhere to be seen.
The damage is jagged like it was ripped, or blown off.
An attacking animal attacks the throat or back of the neck first. The back of the neck is not seen the throat is fine.
In an animal attack or an animal that finds a dead creature, it will eat the soft parts of the gut and organs not take off a leg. The "defensive wounds" on its hand look like spatter rather than cuts IMO, and if an animal attack the wounds would be deep and ripped.
If an animal attack and the animal was not hungry it will drag off and bury or drag up a tree its prey for later. Not just the leg.

If the attack was Human the damage looks to be caused by a shot gun or knife used as a saw to sever the leg. Any Human that kills an alien takes it or calls someone as proof not just the leg, and the leg thus far has not been found.

Back to the video.

There were at least two people there. One with the dog and one with the camera. Apparently there was no phone or there was no service, However if anyone, that has not lived in a cave for the last 50 years, would recognize the find as significant. At the very least one of the people would have stayed while the other went for someone if not for the fame but for the money. If something scared them it would not have taken 2 days to return to a pile of could be anything without reporting it. the pile shows it was not reported because it would not have been left behind, although an animal could have dragged it off at this point but again in the pile shot there were no drag signs ie spread instead of piled.

So IMO, by the observations I have shown here, Unless the alien was ship surfing and fell off into the trees ripping its own leg off and died where it fell, leaving the leg in the tree, I call it a hoax.

Well as to it not being the same spot when they went back after 2 days, I disagree. Here's the zoom out pic 2nd visit:



You can see the edge of the rock face on the left, and you can see a small rock sticking out of the ground on the right. This is right where its left hand had fallen, and you can see that here:



Notice the "blood" splotches and their distance from both the left and right rocks.

Interesting that the leaves are mostly gone where the body was. And as to the little blood, there may have been a whole bunch of it that came out but seeped through the leaves to the ground below the leaves. And that could explain what that pile of stuff is. We could be looking at what happens to a large amount of alien blood when it interacts with our air over a couple days. And it appeared to happen to BOTH separate splotches, if you'll watch the video carefully. There's the main blood splotch under the wound, but there is another small blood splotch on the ground below the foot.

At this point you guys are going to have as hard a time convincing me this is fake as I am going to have convincing you this is real. But thank GOD that is not my responsibility.

I get to believe what I want. And so do you. So far no one has come even close to convincing me this is fake.

For all we know two of them got into a bad disagreement on the ground, and one shot the other with some kind of ray gun, severing the leg.
