thanks for commenting. would you like to contribute anything? or just trying to be witty?

By contributing do you mean agree with the poster that this is evidence of alien visitation?

by contributing I mean formulating and expressing an opinion on either side of the discussion based on the topic.

lol, I just don't understand why people can't just be neutral, until someone outs it as either a hoax, entry for a contest, or whatever. So far mostly all there is, is babble. But I do appreciate the people who will try at least to give some reasons why they THINK it is a hoax. OR why they THINK it might be real. And just cause I think at all, doesn't mean I am committed to either side.

exactly!

seems like everyone wants to be the first to call hoax, like its a competition, instead of working together to figure out the truth. Alien/ufo forum is the worst for babble

Where's it's JUNK

Carefully hidden jewels!. Strikes against it is that the blood is red and apparently fresh, but the corpse seems rigid when the head is nudged. Do greys have red blood? the thing seems to have a mixture of thin limbs, skeltonal body and a muscular leg. It just happens to be face up. That would about a 25% chance of that.

The stuff on the ground toward the end seems to have a dark, capsule thing sticking out. What is that?

The dogs don't seemed to show much interest in the thing or to be afraid of it either. So for that reason alone I would peg it as a hoax.

lol were debunking things based on dog reactions now? wow. are you a canis behavioral specialist?

back in my day when we sawr a dead alien our dogs'd always let us know if it were real or a prop, a'course if we didn't have a dog with us we'd just keep on a' walkin'

anyways...

Do greys have red blood?

your debunking this based on the dog not being interested, but at the same time expecting someone to know what colour alien blood is?

ugh.. im giving up soon..

Some other observations:

The guy getting close to it with the dog (in other words, NOT the camera/phone operator) is covering his nose/mouth with a cloth. That probably means that either:
1) It stunk, because of decay
2) He was protecting against breathing in anything alien as he got close to it.

Also, if you look close you can see that there is an opening in the rocks, almost as if an animal lives there. Maybe this animal was dragging the thing into its cave after already eaten its leg. Then again, maybe it tried eating its leg after it had the thing IN the cave, and decided that meat wasn't good 'eatin. So it dragged it back out of the cave. Said animal could be dead right now inside the cave, having ingested non compatible alien flesh.

Also, if it was because of smell that he was covering his nose/mouth, then that would imply some kind of decay going on, and who knows, there could be some kind of thing similar to rigamortis that causes their bodies to get stiff on decay- similar to humans. That would explain the stiffness of the head/neck when he gently nudged it with his foot.

i think it looks pretty real op the thing the guy does like covering his mouth because of the smell etc the dog needs putting in quarantine probably have eggs in side it now
and this is what i think a grey really looks like not the fictional cute looking alien we're led to believe got to keep an open mind ive seen many far worse that people have believed and if we have been engineered from them or vise versa we would have similar physiology.

I'm not saying it is real or not but here is the translation of the text:
The title:
Italy mystery of a March 3, 2011
Here is the rest of the text, they are seperated by dashs.
-This video was filmed in 2010 on an Italian mountain
-intended by the authors was to be a simple "walk the dog"for a clip that was supposed to participate in the competition life in a day
-the characters of the story-they prefer to remain anonymous because of the episodes have at least suspected to be disturbed their lives after "the incident"
-The audio portion has been omitted for privacy
-frightened by a loud sound coming from above, the video makers have fled
-two days later returned to the scene, but the body had disappeared
-those that follow are photos of the strange ruins that have-beams
-We'll just go in slow motion
-what is left

If it is not real it still must have took some time and some preparation. (and by preparation I mean the whole thing with "life in a day")

Sorry if the translation is not perfect.

Damn that is an interesting video. Incredible.

For those mentioning the Dog - ironically the dog DOES run and try and like it etc, the owner pulls it back - its quite clear.

The body is amazingly well constructed, this is better than anything I have ever seen - seriously good.

There is not enough to go on either way with this - I suspect it to be fake as we DEFINITELY would have heard more about this if it were real. If the original videographers decided to post this in youtube - then they have already made themselves public - so the very fact that there is not greater scrutiny or public recognition of this video suggest it is fake.

Outside of that - we know little else. when was this video shot ? Is there any metadata on the FLV file ?

come on people!
Look at where it's laying down, then look at the part where they go back and poke the mess on the floor with a stick.
It's a different location!
Take note of the rocks by where the "alien" is lying, they are different to where the mess is later.

Thanks for that. Yes, as I suspected, they omitted audio for privacy.

And also check this out:

This is a still captured from the video, and I have drawn in arrows to mark 1) a cut in the hand/wrist area, which may indicate a defense attempt against perhaps an animal, and 2) a leaf with its blood that came out of that cut right next to the hand. If this is a hoax, it's got to be one of the best ever.

It might not be a hoax. It could be that some hungry animal like a brown bear, which are found in Italy, came upon this creature and a fight ensued. Who knows.

Lol, we are so used to hoaxes each and every time, if the real one slapped us in the face we'd just assume hoax as well. But this one is intriguing to me, for sure.

Fine. Give up. Need I explain that my mock question about the color of the blood means why should it be red and fresh? Maybe because we recognize red blood as dramatic in about any instance you care to mention? I hope this explanation proved worthy of your consideration. But I'm done here.

that still picture is a good example of - if this were a hoax- how much detail was put into it. why would they put sooo much detail in this video only to use a crappy home camera, and stay anonymous?

If thats a prop, it was hella expensive to produce.

if they have the money to make a prop like that. they have the money for a better camera.

if they wanted to make a hoax, they would have made more of an effort to show the creature.

if this were a hoax, and they spent all this time and money. why stay anonymous? wouldn't you want to make money off of tv interviews and whatnot? dont hoaxers want to be famous or at least have a sence of popularity??

somethings not adding up here.

someone needs to save that video on their computer in case it dissapears.....

We need more information. Perhaps you should be looking at the individuals filming this? How far up in the mountains are they? If extremely far, would folks walk their dog this distance and back? Nice clean shoes... Walk in the mountains much? Are there any females there? Why? What percentage of men carry a hanky or tissue these days? Usually they just carry a small comb, phone, and a wallet. I am even a woman with a very large purse and no hanky or tissues inside it. How many people are supposed to be there? Obviously both the dog, and individual divert their attention to a third person to the right of the camera person. Quite a crowd to be walking a dog. Why are not all of them up close looking at this? Human nature would have all of them squeezing in for a close up looksie. What about the demeanor of the individuals. They would be extremely excited. Not like they found a turtle.... And the dog would pick up on this and follow suit. But instead the dog was calmly intent on following the directions of the leash holder and camera person.

And risk being chased down by the men in black?
No way!

But yeah you have good points. Also, the way the video got interrupted (like electromagnetic interference) just before both the dog and the guy were transfixed on something to their left. People always said their cameras freaked when a UFO was near.

And to be honest, if that was me that came upon that scene, I would most DEFINITELY be concerned about the potential for others to be lurking nearby. Or above. I think they may have realized that just a little too late, and stayed way longer than they should have, video taping the body. And then guess who arrives to take their own back? Papa Gray!

So Mr. Legless here gets dropped off to get a quick sample of something on the earth, and the ship takes off for minute to drop off another galactic explorer in some other place. While it is gone, Mr. Legless decides to wander by the den of a bear, and it grabs him by the leg, trying to pull him into the cavern there. The alien is able to not be totally dragged in, but loses his leg in the process. The bear has a leg and is munching while the alien drags itself away from the entrance a bit, but dies soon thereafter from blood loss. The exposed internals from the alien may be releasing some very strange smelling chemicals- hence the smell.

And not long after that goes down, camera guy, friend and dog happen in on the scene. That could have all happened in a couple hours or less, when Papa Gray returns. And yeah, time to run. Cause who do you think the aliens would blame for the death at that moment?

The guys running, probably.

lol. Just letting the imagination out of the cage temporarily.
