I wonder what ridiculous excuse they will come up with about why they are dying?

Trauma caused by wave action, fireworks, hail stones initiating a death dealing vibration through the water, a localised toxic spill from a Mexican fish cannery, startled by the flash on tourists cameras or traffic noise from a nearby road all seem like perfectly logical possible causes of the deaths of the unfortunate turtles, I'm sure Occam's razor will dictate that one of the above will be the cause.
You forgot sunspots,Al-qaeda,and of course seawater change,oh and they saw my ex-wife in a bikini.........of course it's serious,if I didn't laugh all this tragedy would have me a basket case by now.God help us all,Keep your sense of humor, gonna need it on those nights watching the horizon glow with radioactive petrochemicals, and yes I am damn scared

This is not a laughing matter. The ecology is all linked and this, as part of all, will have a big effect in year(s) to come. What do you think would really happen if you sucked the world dry of its natural lubrication and cooling system? Particulary if certain expeditions go awry.

The by product of this drainage is heat. And gas. And problems...

i agree with that...seems the teen squad show up here....

but its a main problem of people nowadays....but BEWARE..never take away thair iphones...

The oil spill itself would have only caused limited damage, but in their effort to cover up their crimes/stupidity BP sprayed millions of gallons of dispersants thus multiplying the damage to marine life.
Why try to hide it? Everyone knew it was a big spill and nature would have eventually degraded the oil back into it's molecular constituents. Why spray toxic crap all over making seafood inedible and killing even more sea life?
The only answer that makes any logical sense to me is that this was an act of asymmetrical warfare.
Destroy a major food source and render toxic the environment making people sick in a an effort to gain even more control over people and the earth's resources.
I believe these turtle deaths are just another casualty in the globalist attacks on the people of the Gulf region

Blame the shrimpers

Oh, that's just precious, blaming the victims.
That is the attitude of those who would control us all.

Of course, you don't expect them to blame themselves,The guilty always lie.

Yes I agree..
A major decline in one food source (because of hungry humans) can affect a whole eco-system of animals that all rely on each other for survival... plus add harmfull toxins to the mix.

It is sad, so sad
that we can just care about our selves and not our affects on our planet.
These ancient animals deserve so much that so many dont care about.

I tell you. Oil companies are the centre of just a bout all the worlds problems. And now BP want to go back and do there deep drilling again in the gulf. And if thats not enough, Brazillian fuel giant Petrobras are about to drill off our coast here in New Zealand. Deeper than the gulf. The mongrels. look here.

"The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse, and every living thing died that was in the sea." ~Rev 16:3

BP is surly no angel, but they got the job done.

Reminds me of the scene in the Matrix where one of the agents turns round and says that human beings are the disease of the planet (or something similar)

I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You're a plague and we are the cure.

Remember the guy wearing the Edgar suit in MiB? At one point he yelled at the MiB, "You idiots!"

This story is from early 2010 unless they're washing up again. Look at the dateline< br />

My guess.... and this is JUST a guess, is that it has something to do with underwater volcanic activity. Or these deaths could be a result of plate shifting causing the release of gas.... OR both, combined with man made disasters.

I agree with your analogy. I have always considered us as an infestation. Take carpenter ants for instance

The really sick thing is I just read an article in this week's Bloomberg Business Magazine about how BP is making more money and has more cash flow now than they did before the oil spill. The magazine actually bragged about them... I couldn't believe my eyes!

The clean up is not finished. They need to give back to all the people of the Gulf areas, and
continue to clean up. I saw a piece on the news two days ago about how the oil is killing off the salt water marshes and it is thick in the mudd and water, still. FREE CLEAN ENERGY SOURCES this is what
should be our Top Priority. No more wars, no more pollution, no more deaths.

Fortunately the BBC are making a documentary on the epidemic of creature deaths very soon to draw attention to the possibility that man is seriously affecting the ecosystem - not!

If you think back on all the sudden animal both fresh water, ocean and dry land, plus bird deaths, within about a week or less some natural disaster happens. hmmm

Exactly right. If you recall however, most posting here did NOT believe the Oil would naturally dissipate and degrade. They insisted that was a lie. Ignored the fact, even with the size of that spill that more than that leaks naturally into the Gulf every year. The naturally occurring bacteria would have solved the problem, not to mention far more of the oil could have been burned off or gathered, reducing the affects.

I won't even go into the crowd that thought oil came from giant voids in the Earth and predicted a volcano and tsunami's.

I have no doubt in my mind at all anymore that the environmentalists will before it's over, cause more destruction than they stop; simply because their actions are based on ideology and knee jerk reactions instead of facts and science. Activists ALWAYS do more harm than good. Always
They get their education from other Activists who don't have a clue and so the game continues.

The true environmental Hero's are paying their dues in school and doing real work, netting real results. Dropouts and attention seekers who fake their way through life, never fix or save anything.

Forget about any kind of comet or dwarf star coming to close to our planet...Its perfectly obvious that we will be our own undoing.
