Single-line posts are sometimes more significant and, dare I say, profound than some which ramble on and on but make no concise point. I'd rather read ten words that express an idea efficiently than a hundred that say nothing at all.

I've noticed a disturbing increase in the amount of one-line posts. The majority of them are nonsensical replies that make up the "garbage" that clutters this site when one is trying to find intelligent replies within intelligent discussions. It seems like the majority of the posts come from new users that signed up within the past 6 months.
Do the mods need some help here or something? It's impossible to report every instance. Perhaps the rules need revision?
It's getting to be a pain in the arse.

I have to agree with you,it is a pian to keep reading a bunch of people complaining on the ats as if the world revolves around them,it makes me sick.i mean, who really cares to come on here and see some one complaining about nothing, every day ,every week, every hour, every second......every other thread...GUH!!!
Instaed of making a thread with your lil tiny whining complaint ,why dont you send a pm or something to the mods, instaed of irratating threads like this .Do you really think every reply deserves a whole paragraph.
i think the mods do a good job,why dont you let the founders of this site decide on whats going to happen.
getting to be a pain in the arse.
Every other post you do is dealing with complaints, get real.

This is above top secret, not a complaint center,JESUS CHRIST.
I honestly think by looking at your threads, that the ats has nothing to do with this,or the one line posters ,i think the real problem is in the mirror.

Honestly, I think that brevity in responses is a direct result of the social evolution of the web. Before the advent and popularity of say, Twitter or even text messaging which is far outpacing even making a simple phone call, I would not be surprised to find that single line posts were far fewer. Hell, I even find myself and my friends/family on facebook increasingly reducing postings to one or two lines.
