i sure i've heard before that the sea bulges at the poles because of the magnetic poles, so if it has gone......

please correct me, i am sure i must be thinking of something else.

This is not fear mongering, and i am not directly linking this to solar activity at all. Agreed solar activity has a large effect on our magnetosphere, however it is naive to think that ONLY the sun can effect it, we know that the poles are acting up and are eventually going to switch, therefore this could be an internally caused effect instead of externally. and if people bothered looking at the Links the could read first

Reference for previus intsances (with images of previous times this happened)

Ok, so what's the best site to monitor earthquakes.

Any suggestions please.

And it's happened before, with no large earthquakes...

Notice how on both there is always a constant south, currently there is NO south pole. I admit nothing could happen, but imo and from watching this website for a while, this is to Extreme to be considered normal

Well the LINK that has other images doesn't seem to follow that criteria.

For example, the Haiti and Chile quakes.

So, I take it that the IMF of the Sun is the same polarity as Earth, since the South Polar Magnetic Field is reducing or negated? How vulnerable does this make Earth, or would this just increase drag on satellites?

Interesting...

I am not sure what the best site would be, but here are a couple of links that will show you current earthquakes.

I think I'm going to be making some phone calls to wake up a bunch of people living on the West Coast.

Even if this turns out to be nothing - which I don't think it will - it's better to be safe than sorry. There's just too much data, dreams, and Berkland's educated guesses to ignore.

thank you for your explanation ..

still i dont like how you started your post..bit arrogant to me..fear mongering much???

i guess if you were from NZ or Japan you would be more graceful towards other members who dedicated their time to discuss this issue..

things may change pretty quickly if disaster strikes home i believe

IMO ..many need to evaluate their way of posting...anybody can turn a super hero know it all behinfd a 120 Euros monitor and a Web Browser

I do think it's nothing. Still, here on the Hayward fault, I can't help but get a little nervous about the fact that every dog on the block just started going nuts barking at 2:30 in the morning. My mice seem to be normal, though.

Really?

The title of the thread is inducing fear, deliberate or not and that gives me the sh$%^s\

Especially when the evidence is lacking.

Be alert not alarmed...
