It's really hot today here at the corner of Hollywood and La Brea. So hot, some might say it is earthquake weather. I think I am gonna hit Pink's hotdogs for my "last meal" just in case ;-)

Extinction Level Event meaning that it can cause some species on earth to become extinct......that doesn't necessarily man!

Remember the Chicxulub meteor made extinct many plants animal, and most famously dinosaurs (Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event).......but many species including mammals survived..... indeed Man exists because of the Chicxulub meteor impact.

Don't miss California a bit. I actually moved from Northridge in 1992, because of the riots and an uneasy feeling about earthquakes to Palm Beach, Florida. Watching TV in 1994 (from Florida), I saw the apartment house where I used to live pancake into the bottom floor. I lived on the bottom floor. I had the same uneasy feeling after getting way to comfortable in West Palm, so moved to the relative safety of the North Georgia mountains in 1995.

These challenges to life and sanity on this planet must be met with clear minds and sound hearts, so may your 2011 see you embracing its highest potential and onward through the fog!
