Regarding Searl's imprisonment, this is from a letter written by John A. Thomas of The Searl Effect:

. . . As far as his family goes, his wife and children never went to the building sight or knew anything about his work other than what was written in the papers and on the radio and television. His wife was responsible for his imprisonment and the burning of his papers and destruction of his equipment. Only she knows the reason for these actions. It took 4 days to burn all his papers which represented years of work and a value of about 5 million pounds. . . . Meanwhile the authorities burned all the papers in Prof. Searl's home with his wife's consent.

Yes, he says he was given a professorship for one lecture which lasted an hour he gave at a University, I find this highly doubtful....don't you?

Well, for one lecture, yes. But it could be that he did give a one hour lecture, but that it was actually based on his body of work rather than the one lecture.

I'm fairly certain you're wrong about that.

I have an inquiry already pending about the need for proof that the IGV flew.

In my opinion, John A. Thomas is an outstanding individual. I look forward to learning from his vast research.

Re his 'Professor' title: Professor and Honorary Professor are official academic titles protected by law in Germany (where he supposedly received the title or nickname). Honorary titles need also be officially awarded and clearly specified. Carrying titles without entitlement is at least misleading and some people get sued for this. Not a great starter re credibility.

In Germany, visiting lecturers and private lecturers can be conferred the titles of "Honorarprofessor" or "Außerplanmäßiger Professor" respectively after several semesters of successful teaching.

Researchers are in a search for the truth. The search for the truth needs to include one's heart as well as one's head, in my opinion.
