I thought the UN had an emergency broadcast protocol ie send an emergency broadcast from Earth on a powerful transmitter on behalf of humanity asking for assistance. I agree we have survived much up to this point but what if there was a nuclear accident that was so massive we cannot control it or correctly pointed out a disaster like Japan has just witnessed but perhaps on a larger scale?

you could ask the ATS alien , Andrameda or whatever his name is, he's even got his own website.

I would love for aliens to make themselves known and give us a hand as much as the next believer but unfortunately that's about as likely to happen as any given religions messiah coming down and saving all of them. I would gladly eat mt hat, and all of yours for that matter if it happened though.

OP, I'll tell you what you need to do....

Seriously..

You need to meditate and hope you can stop humans being the stupid, murdering, destructive things they are..

You wish is parallel to those that wish God would come here and help, as far as we know for sure neither actually exist although I'd put money on the aliens being the most likely. Man destroys, he does this exceptionally well, as we know its easier to destroy than to fix and we as a race have pretty much devastated a massive chunk of this rock we call home.

At no time when there's been huge loss of life has ANYONE stepped in to help.

As I've said time and time again, I'd love to meet a good alien that wanted to help but if these beings do exist I think they would be best leaving us alone before we taint their ways. Lets imagine ET turns up and fixes loads of things, how long after they appear do you think it would take fearful people to attack them, some religious idiots to also attack them for being blasphemous to their shallow ideals, some military to try and grab some tech etc etc etc

Man is his own worst enemy, what right do we have for someone to bail us out for centuries of abusing each other and the planet.......

Eating that much tinfoil would have to be bad for you.
On the other hand, it might just be the way to turn yourself into an antenna so you could hear ETs response.

We have to take responsibility for the problems in the world. We have created them and we can fix them, we cant go around abdicating our responsibilities in the vain hope that superman is going to come down and make it all better.

No one has helped during any other horrendous event's, for people to be putting so much faith into this could drive many insane..

I don't think anyone is saying this is all the responsibility we should take. This is in my opinion is an addition to anything else we can possibly do to help. It is your opinion that it is fantasy, whether it is or isn't does not really matter. Intention is a much under-valued and under-used tool. How could it hurt in your opinion?

Ok so, let's see.. I'm most likely going to end up comming up with stuff while typing this, resulting in a hard to read text so beware.

So, you'd want to call for ET to help us with dissasters such as the quake in Japan.
First of all the reason for the quake might be because of humanity. For example global warming if you believe in that, maybe because we are using up the earth's recourses, maybe even because of things such as the oil spill in the gulf of mexico.
If this is the case than basicly it's like spilling coke on your floor and telling your kids to clean it up.
We (humanity) ruin the planet and want other people/beings to fix it for us.

Maybe the quake had nothing to do with us. Space and everything in it does what it wants and we are just using one of those places as our home. Kinda like staying at a friends house, you must change your daily routine to addept to their habits.
So basically there's nothing we could or should do about the quake, why should ET ? Maybe they can travel trough space, but maybe it's just impossible to change a planet like that, or they blew up their own planet trying to do so and learned their lessons.

Another thing is that ET would have to exist in the first place. If they are out there and willing to help, shouldn't they already have done so? If they are out there then why won't they help without us asking, are they that sadistic? What use would asking be?

And if life ET is out there, who says they are friendly in any way? Maybe they don't even know of our existence yet which might be the only reason we are still alive. Contacting them would be like putting a neon sign above a soldier's head, it's asking to get killed.

I agree that all the deaths are terrible and all that, but 'calling ET' to help us? Panda's are about to be wiped form the planet because they can only live from eating some type of bamboo all day and that type it disapearing from earth. The only thing we can think is 'They brought it upon themselves, survival of the fittest, no use in saving them'. We are no different from those pandas you know, if we don't change ourselves to how the earth changes than maybe we do deserve to get killed by it. So why should ET think different about us than how we think about those pandas? Maybe we simply aren't worth saving.

No clue if any of that makes any sense to anyone.

With the, what is now, known as the human species, genetically is altered to a new genre of particles, that shields are not available to prevent entering our atmosphere, previously....

2ndly: We enter our new dawn, in such a harmonic way, that one can only suspect that divine coordination and/or ordination, is occurring, with our existence being one day, not only here on earth....

No, like the "Boy in the Bubble" we adapt to a species, that can live on C02 naturally, with increased capabilities, being induced over unknown period of time, with what may become a new race and species..

... as it is clear, that the big picture, may require us to do more than build space stations and our advances are trending in the direction that with robotics alone with not be our legacy and humanoids that can survive atomic and nuclear exposure of radiation, and breath space and travel through time, without the need of vessel or craft....

While as far fetched, as it may seem, clearly today we must admit, that in order to endure the situation, that our bodies will need to change to cope with the toxic world that we have created...

Our hope to survive the inevitable now or tomorrow, as thinning the ozone, and acid rain, and woodsy the owl, have all seemed to grown silent, and who knows, we shall all see!

You're only a slave if you just go with what they say.
Higher rank or not, they are still human as anyone else.
I don't know that much about history, but I'm fairly sure that in the past people often brought their high ranks down if they did something that went againt human rights of the lower ranks for example.
The only reason they 'control' us as you put it is because we are to chicken to do anything about it.
