Radiation Coulds in THE US westcoast and midwest!!

www.youtube.com

If you live in the areas (west coast USA, Canada, Mexico, and also MIDWEST US)... pay close attention.. may not want to go outside during this time....

The radiation flow, forecast and shown by these several models... tells the tale of the isotopes coming our way... .. it will be up to you to decide if you should go outside during the time these clouds are over the USA, Canada, and Mexico...

I wouldn't be too worried about it...Its just as much Radiation as the sun hitting you on a hot summers day...Use 50 SPF sun screen, and if your really worried eat a lot of Vitamin C...

you'll probably get more radiation by microwaving a burrito...heard enough of fear mongering regarding the west coast...the real problem is in japan NOT HERE...whatever radiation that flows our way will spread out and not pose any significant danger

The local nuke plant put out an announcement that they had detected it but it was at a lower level than the background radiation in South West Michigan

50spf is not going to help protect anything.

www.ewg.org...

there is no telling what could be in these clouds I would worry more what will happen if it rains and these particles get into all the soil and crops in Cali.

Well crying about it won't help neither, so its better to be apart of the solution instead of the problem...Just go out and live your life normally, like you have been before this whole scare occured...

I have been monitoring the radiation levels on the west coast since the 19th and it has only gone up a very, very small amount.

Sunscreen? That doesn't even make any sense.

This also makes no sense. If it is below background they wouldn't be able to detect it.

Good idea to keep an eye on it, but not a good idea to put much stock in this u-tuber. All he's using are forecast models. Nothing concrete. No solid data. Don't let him scare ya. Be aware, but do it smart.

I live in the midwest and it is gorgeous out, and there are no crazy radiation readings here.

The site was "down for maintenance" 2 days ago also ???

you can check other areas from here:

background radiation levels arent the problem, nobody is worried about dying from immediate exposure (in the US).

its the fact that one mere instance of breathing in these radioactive isotope's can be the deciding factor whether your alive or not in the next 15 years.

exposure is one thing, but ingestion is a whole different matter altogether.

so beware when somebody tells you "not to worry" followed by an irrelevant comparison of exposure to the sun or a microwave.

the isotopes that are in the air will kill you at any amount if ingested. not EXPOSURE TO THEM but INGESTION OF THEM(breathing them in).

glad thats cleared up.

stay in your homes.

what youre doing is neither productive or helpfull.

your advice is sunscreen and to act like everything is normal?

you can just be our canary in the coal mine and go up in a HOTAIR balloon to test the clouds for us then, I mean you seem to be convinced there is absolutely no danger.

dont worry about a mask the air is cleaner up there.

I don't mean to be a jerk here, but if you don't know what you're talking about you should not be giving people advice. SPF50 (without a source no less) and just act normal???

If anyone's concerned about the level of radiation please research Potassium Iodide. This substance goes into the Thyroid and blocks the radiactive cesium. The radiation levels are very low and it seems the worst thing we could see so far is an increase of cancers in the future.

The EPA has some info on it - but very little.
Also check out this online radiation detection website: Black Cat systems

Your advice is just as bad. Potassium Iodide? You would need to be in Japan near the Nuclear mishap for you to take that stuff.

It makes sense if you just want people to shut the hell up about something that isn't going to effect us, I just meant it as a placebo alternative, but the Vitamin C works really well.

I would be concerned, What are the effects of Xenon-133 hmm I don't think even a little bit is good.

Theres more radiation in the hamburger you've been buying from the market for the last 10 years, than there is looming to the US from Japan. This has been debunked on ATS, MSM and many other articles around the country.

The thread title needs tweaking.....for one, major typo and for two, it suggests something thats proven, when it hasn't been.
