You can actually view the comet for yourself online if you prefer.

As for other "agencies," would you consider Remanzacco Observatory to be independent enough? How about Seiichi Yoshida, the noted Japanese comet hunter? Or Bernhard Haeusler? Or my personal favorite, Jean-Francois Soulier? Of course you would probably find these observers unacceptable because, unlike "Astrolpatriot," they are genuine astronomers.

This is a Comet Elenin Plot was taken in the past week by a GRAS user. The full moon does not help.
His YouTube Channel shows he has been tracking Elenin for past month from the remote telescopes in New Mexico as did the discoverer.

I watched that video and do not see anything special he is pointing out. It looks as he is buying the NASA track to the Tee when the real destroyer is in the general area but not right on the track.

There is no new large object out there. If it were within the orbit of Jupiter it would be easily visible to the named eye. Nothing could be hidden. The planets would not be where they are supposed to be. Amateur astronomers all over the world would be abuzz with this. You simply cannot hide something of this scale.

You need an Infra-red scope to see the Brown Dwarf Star yet a comet should be clearly visible by now. No-one can see the "Brown Dwarf Star" because it does not exist. Many hoaxers post YouTube videos claiming that a deep space nebula, an infra-red galaxy or their porch light is "Nibiru." What makes you think a comet would necessarily be visible by now? Many comets zip past the Earth without ever being spotted. On the other hand, a planet four times larger than Jupiter would probably be visible by daylight by now. Please do some genuine research, your fear-mongering might cause someone to kill themselves!

Lots of basic mistakes here. That's okay.
1. Most comets cannot be seen without a telescope. There are 5 or more comets going around the Sun right now and none of them are bright enough to be seen without a telescope. Even bright ones are visible only through part of their travel close to the Sun.
2. Brown dwarf stars reflect light. They can be seen. A Brown dwarf was photographed 9 light years away because it reflects the light of the star it orbits. The claim that an IR device is needed is not true.
3. Where I work has been speculation for a long time.
4. Elenin will not cause deaths. What will cause deaths is the sort of fearmongering you are engaging in. There are those that kill themselves and their loved ones in times of stress. That stress can be actual or the sort of foolish fearmongering that is being performed here. Before you continue this charade please think of the negative impact these hoaxes are having on others.

The fact that people in this day in age will still believe anything they hear really baffles me. Nancy Lieder is no different than the Heavens Gate people. AKA, she belongs in the looney bin. Cling onto your belief that the world will end in 2012 all you want, in the meantime I'm going to be enjoying my life. and I'm certainly not going to be using all of my free time to scare people.

Every single argument the pro Nibiru/Planet X/Brown Dwarf people have is, and has been easily debunked. Elenin is in fact a real comet, but will have no impact on Earth whatsoever. Planet X is pure fiction, and simply does not exist. If there was a Brown Dwarf approaching us, we would easily be able to see it by now, not to mention years ago. Your really going to believe that it's somehow "cloaked" and that's why we can't see it? Pretty sure its hard to cloak something as big as a Brown Dwarf, not to mention they reflect light,

Also, the Bible is not meant to be used as some code to figure out the end of days, as we should have already learned from all of the failed attempts to do so. I swear, people can watch one YouTube video saying the world will end, and they will believe it. Every single "source" linked to back up your claims comes from Conspiracy Theorists, and people with little to no experience or knowledge about Astronomy. Learn to think for yourselves. I think its funny that NASA decided to release their findings yesterday about finding what they are calling a Y dwarf that is colder than the human body. Whats even more funny is that they have known about these for a long time, but had no way to prove they existed until "now".

I think there is more than enough proof...

People realize that noone knows whats gonna happen when elenin comes by, no ones been here in the past to tell us. remember they told us it wasnt even discovered until 2010, although the suiss 10 franc shows us differently and that was circulating in 1986. I think people have the right to be cautious and scared about the possibility that we on earth have no idea what could be ahead for us, and if nothing happens, good we eat it us and keep living, but wouldnt you hate for us to be right... are you ready if we are right? Are you mentally prepared as well as physically ready to survive in some of the harshest conditions ever known to earth? if you are not ready, then you are not really thinking through the fact that this earth is tiny and insignificant in this universe and anything could put it in the path for complete destruction at any time of the day, it doesnt even have to be a comet or what not.

Not sure why you call this funny. They actually did not know about them; they hypothesized that these existed. Just because someone imagines something or predicts someone doesn't mean it is true. The science is vindicated by finding that predictions are correct and such objects exist.

As far as speculating that there are such objects that are closer does not mean they exist. It is a matter of finding them. The brown dwarfs were found from 9 to 40 light years away.

Funny, yes as a way to describe that fact that they did know about these things for a while, and the fact that these have been classified not as brown dwarfs, but the failure of a star or a brown dwarf. Timing is everything, they know when to release this information and they know when to hold on to the cards...
