Do you know how science works? More importantly scientific evaluation?

You do not prove things to be impossible, but prove things to be possible.


Scientific Method

So in keeping with scientific practice, prove your theory... if your theory is possible there will be supporting facts to back it up.

I am not interested in proving it, I already know I will not be able to. That is why its called a theory. And I have already stated that I am speculating. But you have not swayed either side, so you are more useless then the speculation itself.

There are no Nibiru believers that can tell me my hypothesis is wrong or invalid. Because this is essentially what the Nibiru argument is, so have fun proving JJMB doesn't exist, or maybe just go make a thread about the end of the world in 2016.

All good theories have sound reasoning and facts to back up the claim, what you are presenting is a hypothesis, there is a big difference between the two.

Crazy They aren't OUR laws of physics, they are THE laws of physics.

How can you say this? Have you been to where Nibiru lies in space, and scientifically tested the laws of physics there? You are going by Earth's laws of physics, and no one knows what these laws are, or how they may work in other sectors in the Universe. The theory postulated by the OP is sound, but it is only a theory, after all.

No and I don't need to, according to the Niburu "theory" it lies within our solar system and travels further into our solar system every 3600 years, Niburu believers say it will be here in 2012, next year, it was also said that we will be able to see Niburu in early 2011, yet we do not see it!

As I have previously stated the gravitational effects alone would be visible, it would massively puturb the orbits of the planets, not to mention the asteroid belt, we would be absoloutly pummeled by asteroid right NOW, I don't see this happening,

We have sent out spacecraft throughout our solar system, if our current understanding of physics wasn't sound then precision spaceflight would not be possible!

Are you seriously saying that earth has it's own set our the laws of physics and the rest of the solar system and universe uses different laws of physics? Do you know how proposturous this sounds?

It is ONLY our understanding of the laws of physics that change, the laws of physics are universal and are constant.

No it is not, this "theory" is full of holes and it cannot even be called a theory as the OP has not actually set out a theory, only a hypothesis has been set out, so how can it be sound if there are no facts to back up what is being said?

So your entire argument is that I have stated a hypothesis and not a theory.

Then I agree, by definition a hypothesis would fit better for the general population, however there are those that could call this a theory, should they choose to believe the facts presented and do not require additional information for they have already read enough that the "holes" can be overlooked in some cases.

Next time ill be sure to use better words so you can understand. But perhaps remember that not everyone on here has English as a first language. And other things, go without saying.

But until you can prove it wrong, it isn't wrong, and it also, it isn't right until I can prove it right. Beauty of this particular scenario is we will know soon enough. And until then I'm not worried about it, weather it is or is not coming is irrelevant, my life still works the same.

No not at all, that is only part of what I am saying, the main problem I have is the fallacies that your hypothesis has.

But the thing is you haven't actually presented any facts, only a few loose idea's you talk about tachyons and wormholes but you don't peice together your hypothesis with any logic.

Are some how trying to say that I do not qualify as an out the box thinker just because I am expecting some kind of logic?

I had an interesting theory pop into my head last week, what if the incoming object is interdimensional, and we can not see the physical object but feel the effects through a universal process related to Quantum mechanics. I will admit I am not well versed on QM but is on my bucket list of research items.

If your interested in finding the logic, then look for it. Maybe it is there, maybe it isn't. Even if the possibility is 1 in a trillion, its still not IMpossible. thats all I am saying.

For me, things like this are just cool to think about. Not necessarily need to be proven or dis proven. Perhaps one day, I will see more information that will completely disprove it or maybe even shove it in the the direction of plausible. I do not know, therefore I made a thread about it to see what other people thought. You have not provided anything other then "Blah blah blah, your stupid, blah blah blah". Which doesn't help at all.

I was also thinking along the same lines when I started looking into wormholes. I see the plausibility of inter-dimensions so why cant a planet travel through dimension?

Generally speaking everything when first thought turns out to be far more complicated or far more simple then anyone ever imagined. Perhaps Nibiru will be the same. Or perhaps it will be non-existent. Who knows, but it is fun to think about and I'm glad someone shares that with me
