My parents were English snobs, lol...they moved to Canada...had me here...then spent years complaining that Canadians were all 'peasants and farmers'. (honest)
It always hurt my feelings, because I was a Canadian...so I jokingly refer to myself as a peasant (cuz I'm not a farmer).
