violet,
Indeed, I do live not far from YVR. The planes continue to come and go as usual, as they have always been since we moved here.
The noise is there even when the planes aren't. I am familiar with the jets, and their noise does become clearer when near the window. The direction
is clear.
With this noise, the direction is undefined. How can it be? For all other noises I hear, I can tell the direction (we instinctively rotate our head to
find the direction of noise, our brain balances the sound coming in "stereo", right?)
But here I am clueless. Seems like underground, but we sit in a river delta... And also the noise is not louder through the stethoscope I put in the
ground.
Plague:
If I hear it at 10-11, and you hear it at 10-11, but we are three hours apart, it makes even less sense... What time are you hearing it exactly?
Cheers
