Hi Daisy, thank you for posting the video. I'm drawn to the light and sound show in your video and have a few questions that perhaps you could answer for me. What was the day like before and the one day after like?Was there a noticeable change in the 3 days, in any regard? And just watching this video link which I send you herewww.youtube.com... could you tell me if there are any similarities in any way?

I think it was just panic sickness, the gut twisting feeling.
I saw three flashes all together, Two earlier on, and then the last one. I didnt see any actually lightening bolts or anything like that, Nor was there the thunder associated with a lightening bolt. i wish i would have been a little braver

but can't go back and undo that..

I would say you were very brave. I could hear the concern in your voice, especially for the children. It takes a strong will to stand there with a camera and not go hide under bed! I am glad whatever it was, did not cause harm to you or your family. I truly hope you find the answers you are looking for. I can only speculate, like the others here. Perhaps we can all string together the pieces of this mystery, the number of growing witnesses to this phenomena concerns me. As a scientist I could grasp for possible geographic or technological theories that could possibly explain this. But as a person with a family, I am just happy you and yours remain safe. Does sound eerily similar. So does the rocket test too. IMO it is far too "gutteral" to be aero engine's that we know about, and being an engineer working on RR and GE engines I should know I guessm, the tell tale high pitch whine didn't accompany the low gutteral rumble.

Excellent, that first one is only 17 miles from a seismo station.

Ok, so here is the spectrograph of the space shuttle, and a few things to keep in mind-
1) Camera had unobstructed view and audio of the shuttle, compared to hers which was severely obstructed by a massive forest, and house she was in or very near.
2) The forest and house could account for the missing frequencies and banding
3) But saturation of the low end is nearly identical, if you take into account the attenuation of the thick forest which would make sense in the 120 to the 2600 Hz range. So I am saying her spectro is this minus all that attenuation:

Note the ranges that are in yellow and green in hers, and that's where I am suggesting attenuation of those frequencies occurred to yield her spectrograph. But the saturation of the low end is very close, and the closest yet of anything I have analyzed. Now how that could be the shuttle or its engines close to her place I don't know.

Interesting! So something with the same frequency as a rocket booster was sitting outside her house. Now that is odd!

My own ears tell me they are a little different though, the OP's vid has the same gutteral tone, but it does sound like a wind is being whipped up just like a tornado sounds like. The raw booster footage lacks that in both the videos of the booster test in this thread.

It sounds like something is "spinning" the air in the op's vid.

I have analyzed my storm footage from last year. In my footage there was similiar sounds but did not last as long and was not as loud. I remember in one storm I heard what sounded like wind yet it was calm. This video;(in the post); is much louder and although similair in sound there is no way that came from the storm. Even the loudest storm I have recorded in the end of Feb 2011 was quieter than this.
I know this has been already ruled out but I knew I heard a noise like that before. No wonder the filmer thought it was a tornado.

TA, So the sounds are equivalent to a rocket ship minus the differences?

Uhhht Oh....

It reminds me of a sound I heard several years ago. I was inside and way off in the distance I heard a very similar rumbling. It kept getting louder and closer. After a minute I went outside and looked around... It kept getting loduer and closer until all of a sudden a military jet flew VERY low over my house.... My mom who was inside poked her head out the window wanting to know what it was., It shook the entire house... And this was a HUGE house out in the country....

I never did figure out why, but for some reason, it landed at a small private air port that was down the road, that normally housed single engine cesnas and the like....

I heard the rumbling for a total of maybe... 5-10 minutes and the visual of the jet was so quick it was more or less a grey blur. It was SO close to the ground....

I am USAF Retired and have heard many engine tests. It sounds just like a multi-engine ground test.

I now live about 4 miles from an airport where a major aircraft company tests aircraft. When the wind is right, it is just as loud as in the video.

Would a house 4 miles away shake with that test?? And the ground too? Daisy said that happened.

This is what a tornado sounds like. This was in the Gladstone Tornado 2008. It sounds similair yet different. The only difference is this lasts for maybe 5 minutes at the most. That would have been a slow moving torando. I would have done the same thing had my family go in my tornado safety area.
I really want to solve this mystery. I am investigating everything from mistpouffers which of course is nothing like this to unusual weather phenoma.

True American, Does your spectrograph include a time table? I would be curious to know how the frequency changes towards the end of the video when the light is emitted in the sky.

maybe it is Haarp experimenting with weather. I have never really believe in it much but I have seen some very strange weather phenoma in the past few years. I would say at least 4 storms that I have been in had some weird noises, strange clouds and unusual behavior.

Maybe it was the UFO going by upper atmosphere that just landed in Russia.. Reported by another thread although his title was saying it crashed..But from Russian reports more like landed and that sound doesn't sound like a craft out of control.. Might as well throw that out there in all the other Theories...

more far fetched.. it even sounded like a marching army of billion soul walking in the sky

the voice of an archangel in Supernatural (Tv serie) sound exactly like that when they speak from the sky

no one though of that ? lol

I posted this in another thread on this subject. Sound of an apparent UFO captured by the Sherriffs office in the USA somewhere. It sounds similar to the OP but at a different pitch?? I think there is a link to the story at the youtube link here...

Dont forget, That houses and ground was shaking and people hearing the same thing 15-20 miles south of me as well.. which is even further from the airport.

Precisely!! I cant believe that sound could have carried that far especially given you mentioned there was very little wind that evening.
Can I ask if you had a strange sort of 'feeling' whilst this all was going on Daisy? I understand you were frightened as you have children, I am meaning a more goosebump/hair standing on end kinda feeling...if you get my drift.
