More earthquakes

is it now getting more weird that earthquakes are starting to appear even in the strangest of places
or am I now being paranoid

a 5.3 quake has ( in the last 30 minutes ) been recorded off ASCENSION ISLAND REGION, which is off the coast of south west africa, looking at recent earthquakes this area is not usually active even though there have been 2 similar size quakes one in middle africa and one in the very south of africa but not west of africa within the last week ?

now I know the canary islands are off the west coast of africa and would like to know if any activity has been spotted on mount teidi, the volcano on tenerife. en.wikipedia.org...

now looking at what is happening within japan and the ring of fire pacific I wonder if its going to start kicking off near africa as well ......

hope not especially as that affects the east coast of america as well.

Many new locations where EQ are appearing. Canada(Quebec and Ontario), middle of US, Middle east.

it's not just you, i've been watching it closely too and more and more are popping up in very odd places.

it's nothing "huge" so far, but it does give you the feeling that something is happening when you see these >4 mag quakes scattered all across the globe in strange patterns

Youngstown Ohio just had their first recorded earthquake.

No way, she's just pissed and finally had enough of humans treating her badly :-)

I think what I have been seeing lately, I can only hope that if the SHTF then not too many people suffer, but I suppose with all the greed in the world and governments just taking the out of us all the time maybe its all overdue. I mean with all the uprising of the countries, the wars that are starting to break out and the complete upheaval of mass nations. Hope these greedy are happy with what they have created... lets hope then the next big quakes are directly below each and every government building with all of them in them... Just deserts comes to mind...

see what I mean, its bad enough that Japan is still getting bombarded, been some quite big ones today including one right near the fukushima nuke plant earthquake.usgs.gov...

I don't know if this helps anyone or not but I have just spent some time doing cumulative graphs (the ones I often display here on ATS) for every area I can think off.

This is done by name so things like Alaska, Kamchatka, Oregon, Washington, Arkansas, Greece, Crete, Ionian, Iran etc Anyway, a very long list!

With the exceptions of Japan, New Zealand and Arkansas every single region input is rock steady with no sudden twists in the cumulative.

I lost count but it was over 60 graphs so i won't upload them!!!!!

Basically what I am saying is that despite what the popular theory may be, all is pretty much normal except those three areas.
