He is a mere puppet to the true masters who control him. Presidents come and go but the people don't get real change because all previous policies are merely extended by the next president.

Beezer..what a great line... If he had a spine I'd give him Viagra to stiffen it(close enough).. You write that? Supurb. I'm going to steal it...FYI. AND take credit for it.

If I were to prescribe anything for him to take, it'd be viagra for his spine. If he had one.

I suspect it is on par with the same limp noodle of a spine required to participate in an anonymous on-line chat forum and perpetually bash those who cannot defend themselves. As if old glory deserves a salute for barely getting to half mast.

I honestly think he wanted to change things but the powers that be, I believe threatened his life.

You ever notice how passionate he was on the campaign trail and less than a few weeks in office, his whole demeanor changed?

Almost as if someone gave him an ultimatum

Not all of us believe that Fox news is entirely wrong all the time. Do they get things wrong? Yes, as does everyone else.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

FOX NEWS is part and parcel of the elite corporatist smear machine. There are simply too many 'oops' moments. I've worked in TV and News believe me, I know how it works. EVERYTHING is targeted, focused and pre-planned. Except perhaps the weather report.

I'm not going to say he is the weakest president - just indecisive, like myself. Of course, indecisiveness can hurt when you are leading one of the largest nations.

But, consider the circumstances he was given (not "blaming" Bush for this, just stating the facts). Two wars in the Middle East. An economy that was tanking. And, look what has happened since. An uprising in Egypt, trouble in Libya, a horrific disaster in Japan. He couldn't help these things - he simply has to take what he is given and do the best he can.

And, for the poster a few pages back that said he should worry about fixing our internal problems and forget the rest of the world: President Bush didn't do so well there either. In my opinion he did the right thing with Afghanistan, but Iraq is an iffy subject and so was the handling of Hurricane Katrina.

Finally, my final point:

I think the a similar discussion would be occurring if McCain had taken office, just with different facts. In my opinion, he would be too quick in making important decisions without considering all circumstances (such as military action against Iran, North Korea, etc).

From an outsiders perspective, I think Obama is just doing exactly what he is told.

I remember his face beforehand, brimming with hope and passion. Then he had a meeting with the CIA and came out looking like he'd seen a ghost. Since that day it's been downhill from there.

My suspicion is that he was told to toe the line and do what he was told, or suffer the same fate as JFK.

That's not a message that is a distortion of reality. And you suggest dispensing pharmaceuticals to others. Hilarious. You might want to cut back on your self-medicating of prozac.

True, but he was aware he was inheriting all of this. He also said he was the man to turn things around.

powerful president ( of America ) : the man who invades other countries at first , let the forces torture and kill , takes the whole resources of the victim country. is this what you want?

You are the elites and you are the people who should decide. you should take over Iran , Libya and other countries. the world should witness your power.

You are a lazy boy sitting on your chair and saying : why you take away my lollipop ?

you should work for whatever you want and you should prove that you are worthy. the colonialism era has come to an end.

you should start to burn some fat. what you are talking about reminds me of NWO and Bush and invasions.

may be you think you are from a higher race or some thing ?

it's called the harlem hustle, and not because he's black. maybe he got a look at the book of presidental secrets and couldn't handle it.

maybe he saw the pentagon surveillance tapes and say that a plane didn't hit the building.

maybe he realized what he is up against, he probably thought that selling your soul for power wasn't real. now they're calling him on it.

but he sould realize that God is more powerful than anything, even the most powerful and evil forces on earth run in fear of Him.

maybe he got a good look at who actually runs things. but he should be like kennedy. i believe he was a martyr, tricked these evil forces to get into power and then tried to destroy them.

kennedy did alot of damage in the few years he was in office. a righteous person can do more good in months than an evil person can do bad in years.

Yeah.... FOX was a better alternative a few years ago.. compared to what you had as options.
It has continued to stop being black and white with individual shows, but has gone grey for the wrong reasons.

Too bad too..
Hey..when things stop being hip or on the edge? It's because they sell out..

Fox is not any more guilty then Obama.

So what... Comedy Central and Stewart is next.. Big whupp.

Learn how to read patterns of success, sellout, commercialisation and profit, and who makes the decisons.

Like some of us are too stoopid to read between the lines.

At least Huffingtons own people know they were had.

Unlike Obama supporters.

Awwww, now I feel really bad ...

Psssst!

Because I now feel sorry for you and want to do something to help, I'm attaching my secret plans for a "drone" aircraft that you can take back to your air force. Maybe you'll also get something for doing it.

Just don't tell anyone where you got this, OK?

The U.S. presidency never changes. They just change the man in office......I haven't seen a real President in office since John F. Kennedy despite his womanizing ways he did try to change things till they killed him...as they will do anyone who goes against them...period !!!

Yup: If it makes you feel; less "duped"; Keep piling those stars on.

Pass that responsibility off ? "yes we can"): " He was a politically correct empty suit who came out of "nowhere" ( er.. well; "Illinois"). Y'all filled out with your own hopes and dreams.;But Mccain was no better choice; So suck it up;' Til we get fooled again with two more "none of the above" choices next time....
Mr president:
We're preparing to put live ordnance on Libyan targets; Japan has a devastating disaster that will affect the entire world Sir; and set the nuclear power industry back for decades. The CIA says the secretary of state is quietly cleaning out her desk; and printing hundreds of copies of her resume on embassy printers after hours...

("Oh well things are going "swimmingly" then Jim ;If you need me I"ll be in Rio....)

And for anyone that thinks I'm really not fair and balanced, check out my criticism of Ann Coulter here.

What a nut job saying on O'Reilly that radiation is good for you.

And also here, where I give obama props for finally making a decision to do something regarding Libya.
