As for Soldiers in general, they are Canadian this means they are well educated, physically stronger on average, better suited to adapt to various climates...
And lets not forget the courage factor alot maybe said by others that we lack it for the wars we didnt take part in. If the truth be told, when the chips were down, and the fear had taken hold to cripple other countries. This is when Canadians showed them what true courage is as they overcame fear and with fewer numbers succeeded when all others failed or were literally too afraid to try.

Hummm..Clear and transparent...Ok...Let's go out to tender and ask all the companies out there to make us an F-35 joint strike fighter for cheaper than we are going to pay for it now. This is a mass produced strike plane for a multitude of countries, you seriously think we are getting screwed on price ???Come on now....Please explain to me how we could get the best new striker for cheaper ?

Oh heck yeah...We made the FIRST fly by wire intercontinental fighter jet ever, the Avro Arrow! No one could of touched it for years.....Trust me, I know what we Canucks can build. But the simple fact is that the F-35 is a universal platform, mass produced for a multitude of countries and is an affordable alternative to the rest that was offered at the time. We are in the process of training electronic engineers specifically for the F-35 right now.
An explosive independent report on the Harper government’s controversial purchase of new fighter jets estimates their full cost, including maintenance, could hit $29.3-billion (U.S.). That’s about $12-billion more than what the Tories have been telling Canadians it would cost. www.theglobeandmail.com...
