There is no regular army there in the first sorties, so who is gonna designate targets?

Anyhow best case scenario, Gaddafi and his sons get tagged and bagged in the first few hours.

The SAS will be in position already to take them out, i can almost guarnatee this, i dont believe they would bomb many buildings tbh, it will be mainly the runways, i dont believe gaddafi has many military installations of interest, it will be a quick operation, nothing like Iraq.

They will not send in ground forces.
They dont need too.

Air support would cripple the army, eventuality they'd defect to the rebels.

Before air-power was used the rebels were thrashing the army.

Its live now, resolution is to protect civilians be any means necesary, this means ground, sea and air, that means if gaddafi forces are shooting civilians, they will have U.N forces shooting back.

Yeah right

Libya funded Sarkozy's French poll campaign

The son of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has alleged that his country helped finance Nicolas Sarkozy's 2007 presidential election campaign. "We funded it and we have all the details and are ready to reveal everything," Saif al-Islam said.

The resolution was passed then? So it is a go? This is for sure because I haven't been watching a television at all and this is where I was getting information on this particular matter. Thanks in advance!
