Are you dumb or just slow? Check out CNN, it's on tv RIGHT THIS MINUTE.

Did you actually check the site? The ones with satellite imaging that know what is going on every second? Why would they cancel ALL warnings if there is one coming?

Earlier a strong offshore tremor struck 150km (90 miles) northeast of Tokyo shaking tall buildings in Japan's capital, but authorities did not initially issue a tsunami alert.

Even though all the major news stations are saying another large tsunami is on the way a Japanese spokesman has just appeared on TV to deny it... What on earth is going on there?

I'm watching CNN right now. WHERE IS THIS TSUNAMI? I know the hydrogen explosion, BUT WHERE IS THE TSUNAMI?

I'm watching BBC, nothing mentioned on there yet.

At this point in time, i wouldn't be surprised due to the radiation/nuclear leaks. They don't have Komodo dragons in Japan do they? If they do... God help us all.

the bbc update i was just listening to was about the new explosion, but the interviewer also asked the japanese journalist about this latest tsunami warning... he agreed they had the latest warning, but "it didn't come"...
whatever, just gotta be pleased it didn't

Well it seems it has been cancelled. It is no longer on the breaking news banner on CNN. A case of someone seeing a wave and exaggerating it due to fear?

Or maybe they just thought it was precautionary because of the offshore 5.8 they just had ?

You can't blame the posters; they simply reported what they saw. There were sightings and warnings.
