I was just wondering if we could please have ONE thread for the whole disaster, as well as seperate ones for the quake, the nuclear threat, and so on. Personaly speaking I think its a mark of a blithering twit, to break down into seperate sections, the problems that Japan faces right now.
In terms of immersion in the moment, remember, that Japan faces these horrific circumstances, all at once, and I for one would enjoy participating in a thread about the WHOLE situation, not just the little bits and peices of it. It might be "tricky" to keep up with the various elements of the disaster in a single thread, but I would wager its a lot easier than living through a Tsunami or a nuclear meltdown. That in mind, the least we can do is face the subject as a whole, rather than trying to break it down. Its the cummulative effect of ALL the problems in Japan that is doing the real damage any how right?

Or possibly a temporary forum area, where all Japan disaster related threads can be moved to?

That way, even with multiple threads, you won't be searching too far?

As opposed to breaking news, world events, current events etc.

Just a thought, it doesn't have to be permanent. But it might solve a few problems?
