Japan has a population of 120 million in an area the size of the UK. Expect the death toll to be huge.

And now added to that, the nuclear reactor will likely meltdown. Expect this to cause a massive global depression over the next few years.

This is no where near the biggest natural disaster in our history! Yes, their will be deaths...as per most natural disasters in densely populated areas. And as for the nuclear power plant, it WAS shut down...so a melt down is innheritantly impossible. Global depression?????...grow up.

Hollywood implies that Tsunami and massive walls over water hitting the coast. It tends to come in slowly, speeding up with greater intensity. Some people mistake the small tides as a true indication of the over all side.

Can anyone give a link to a live feed on hawaii other then fox, kitv and kohn (none of them are working in my browser at the moment)

The reef on a beach we are watching is COMPLETELY exposed. "A Couple hundred yards" the anchors are reporting.
The ocean is taking a few more big breaths before the big exhale.

Water is reseeding around the Island. Eyewitnesses are clarifying this too. First clear sign a tsunami is coming. If you are in the area, move to high ground.

The waters receeded quite a lot at the shoreline.
