haiti in 2005, i dont remember if it effected the U.S. but i do remember it destroyed a few islands

Is most likely HARRP or a a microwave em miter like it. HARRP has been off for days but on for the last 36hrs kinda weird! It can cause earthquake no question by making water under the plate boil the guy who designed it was very clear it could do exactly this!

Would require a 336 megaton nuke to cause this earthquake. Largest ever was 50-57 megatons. Japan is on a fault line and has a history of earthquakes so I doubt it was caused by anything man-made.

Could be like a building demolition. Strategically placed bomb on a fault line would get the sea floor to move just right with a little push.

due to the evidence of earthquakes aftershocks etc and the effects it is seemingly having on neighbouring geological areas my gut says natural earthquake for now

I believe I heard on KITV in Hawaii that they're expecting a 6 to 7 foot high wave/tsunami (Midway had a height of 4 feet I believe).

Mine too. I pray for those people in Japan. This must be terrible for them and unimaginable for me.

It is not a rumor I talked to my friend in Japan they are leaving! It seems its the #2 not 1 that is worse now!

Sorry if this has already been posted. But has there been agreement in the magnitude of the quake?

yes hawaii is having volcanic activity- a new fissure opened up and is erupting.
another thread on here has videos of it.

on another note i'm just curious but if hawaii has a major quake and sends a tsunami west while the one is coming east what would happen if the 2 collide?

My friend is in Japan its not a rumor the reactor is having problems!

yeah... its quite horrible

so far theyre reporting about 50 casualties, but they know by the time this is all over the known casualty list will be much larger

In all honesty people living at sea level and on fault lines are in great danger forever. We have lost many great civilizations from water. When will we learn. Earth is living and dynamic. This is going to happen. Its natural and cleansing.
