Puterman, total release of energy across the entire sequence might be in order, if you get a sec. My God, how many nuclear bombs is that equivalent to in total energy since and including the 7.2?

EDIT: According to this chart, I'd say the total energy released so far is equal to about 27 to 29 nuclear bombs:

That is allowing 25 for the 7.2, and allowing 1 each for the three 6+'s, and not counting at all the 5's or 4's. Should be about right.

i havent been using gee before today but if im reading it right looks like another big one just happend there. if im not reading it right ignore this post lol. on second thought i think im just looking at this all wrong 1 sec i look at it then i open up my internet browser and then look back and its compleatly diffent then what i just seen mabey i need to reinstall it idk.

It's certainly of no consequence one way or the other, I'll continue to prepare, the fact that I'm convinced it's coming doesn't need to mean anything to you. While I know in my heart there's cause to prepare, I'm by no mean certain about why. My instincts have served me well through the years, this time there's a particular intensity and dread that I know from experience would be foolish for me to ignore. Sure I'm just trying to explain my paranoia by contrasting it to current events, I know it sounds crazy, but it works for me. Yup....7.9 I watched it on GEE at Washington and Yellowstone. Knew right away that something massive had hit somewhere.

Guys....I had just commented on my washington thread that my dog alerted to a big quake...less than half an hour before.

It means it completely peaked out the station, to the point it cannot display any higher!!!!!!

They may revise this up, because they cannot determine magnitude from a saturated graph alone....They MUST use other unsaturated stations further away to help define the magnitude.

That is pushing the LKWY station at Yellowstone into the mm/s. First time ever I have seen that. That is putting some serious pressure on the park. Not good.
