Last Friday you could have stopped by London's premiere ice cream parlor, The Icecreamists, for a taste of creamy breast milk ice cream. Aptly named "Baby Gaga," the ice cream incorporated milk from local donors and came in flavors like Madagascar vanilla and citrus fusions.

Friday was the first day it went public and the shop sold roughly 9 lbs. of the stuff, wiping them clean of the mama-made treat.

Mama! People's tastes are curious, aren't they? Who would eat this stuff here, anyone? Not asking in a nasty way, just curious.

I imagine it would be fetishists that would most want this type of thing in general, but apparently mothers were interested in the flavors, presumably for their children? I just say have her eat a bunch of sweets to make it a natural sweet cream flavor....what do you think?

Interesting posting, sounds pretty disgusting, but not that your idea is real, but having a mom eat sugar to make her milk sweet i dont think it works that way.

This sounds a bit disgusting. In no way would I ever try that ice cream! I don't care if it's coming from a model's boobs, it's just gross. Are they going to start trying to make semen ice cream next?

I would certainly have liked to have tried this ice-cream.

Some people are so prudish and puritanical.

I'd be very interested to see what human milk tasted like in desserts, cheeses and other foods and pudding, but I wouldn't go out of my way to find out.

I've tasted food with milk from cows, goats, sheep, buffaloes etc., so what's the big deal about human milk ?

The last time I had any was about 29 years ago, although I have no memory of what it tasted like.

I would not touch the stuff. Who knows what kind of prescription drugs, illegal drugs, health condition, etc etc, of the women whose breast milk they used? All of which would be passed to you by eating the ice cream. I'm sure some will say that you run the same risks eating ice cream from cow's milk, but at least there are some safety precautions that go into the cultivating of cow's milk. Not so sure what those precautions were for the ice cream made with breast milk.

My 2 cents.

It's all about conditioning. At least human milk is designed for the human body, unlike cows milk.

Oh well, it's time to get out the homemade ice cream tub I reckon'...

Well it is first and foremost a novelty. People are intrigued by the odd, and yes there are also fetishists.

I for one would certainly like to try it on a few stern conditions:

1. the mother is healthy, eats whole foods from natural/clean sources.

2. the milk is raw

3. the ingredients added to the ice cream are from clean/natural sources.

You would have one great source of nutrients in ice cream form. Who doesn't like that? Mother's milk has some great properties to immense health.

This seems more normal to me than eating milk that comes from a cow. Cows make milk for cows. Humans make milk for humans. It just makes sense to me.

The article did not mention what kind of health precautions are taken ie pasteurization, communicable disease testing of donaters, etc...

But assuming any health concerns are addressed properly, this should be allowed. I imagine some new policies would need to be drafted up by the local health authorities before the boob juice is allowed to hit the shelves again.

Not every country pumps up their moo-moos with drugs. And I agree with you, I won't touch milk in America, for example.

OMG don't you dare try to give me human milk! I ONLY drink milk that comes from a different animal.

Adult humans should never injest the secretions of any other human, unless they are in love. The only person to ever offer me breast milk was a Doctor. I declined to try it, even though I was in love with her. It was in a bottle, I wanted it fresher.

Sure I am. That is why I try to drink "organic" cows milk in moderation. I know about the hormones, steroids, etc etc that go into those cows.

The substances that the ladies they used to produced the milk for this ice cream should be scrutinized just as much, or even more than cow's milk. The question is was it?

I assume that's why it was confiscated no? They wanted to test the product to see if it was safe to consume.

There's obviously a huge difference between breast-milk and semen. Of course it is a bad idea to consume either (and the fact that most people's diets consist of all kinds of unnatural garbage nowadays (a female's diet effects the quality of her milk), makes the idea of consuming breast-milk even more gross). Also, the unique make-up of each woman's milk is likely to be meant mostly for her own babies, hence the reason for older kids and adults normally drinking cow milk instead (preferably from a hand-milked cow that eats organic grass).

And seeing that you've quoted Aleister Crowley in your signature, you are aware that part of his Black Lodge rituals consisted of eating a "cake of light" which often contained things like semen, menstrual blood, and excrement? I would take the breast-milk over the "cake of light" any day.

Personally, I would have named the flavors:
"Nipple Suckle," "Titty Surprise," "GaGa-Goo," or "Tig-Bitty Cream!"
