An encounter I had with something.

Ok that story honestly scared me. I believe you musta seen something, maybe it was a Jinn/demon a being that can take various forms. I am one of the biggest skeptics here but you passed a variety of criteria so I will go a little easy on you.

What about the dog? See a veterinarian?

you have described something demonic in nature. The fact that it was daytime means a very powerful demoic presence drawing power from something other than darkness.

I'm glad people posted the videos of the Argentinian dwarf. That was the first thing I thought of when I read your story. When that video first appeared it freaked me out. While it could be a hoax with a little person something about it made me think it was authentic.

have you ever heard of stumpheads?? my cousin told me about them years ago, but i just kinda laughed it off, your story made me think of them though.

There are many sightings of mysterious beings like what you described.

my opinion is that sightings like yours are rare and that beings like that are from another universe that are leaking into ours. Be happy that you were lucky enough to witness something most people never see.

That "nomb" in that video was fairly close, i surely would of ran up to that thing and punted it like a football

I had a shadow person in an apartment in 1998, this thing was nasty. Horrible, it rose up out of my floor when i was in bed laying there trying to go to sleep. It was solid in the darkness. Shape of a human outline but no distinct features. A black mass was there for a few seconds then dematerialized. Smelled like sulfur, had this sulfur smell in the apartment sometimes.

That slum i had rented for a few months, while there had horrible thoughts and a strange energy while there. Almost sickening and people that came over got physically sick and would leave. Visions as if uploaded in my mind from something evil. I think it was trying to over take me.

Needless to say i moved out weeks later to a nicer place. This "thing" showed up in photos i had taken while staying there. Standing over my 6 month old daughters crib with its hand on the rail. From the side had a animal like face but shape of a person like a black mass but smoke like in other parts of it.

There is a little water damage to the pic, some think it is a defect of film some said it is real. I was told not to talk about it because it might follow me. Well I hope this helps maybe give you an idea what a shadow person looks like. Surely a demon imo.

I think those greys are behind it, they are able to push you to see particular numbers that have a meaning.

I also believe your story. When you have the time watch the movie Communion and see if the small guy looks something similar to what you saw...

Get a grip [wo]man ... just because we don't all believe in the same things you do doesn't mean we are all crazy ... maybe it's the people who believe what you do that are crazy (yeah I know ... blasphemy)

Or maybe God (creative energy / aliens) made us to think in a variety of ways on purpose !!!

It's very annoying when people try to enforce their will and beliefs onto everyone who disagrees with their opinions and very cheapening to your beliefs ... kind of like pimping God if you will (think about it) ... no wonder the biblical God is an angry God when his creation get it so wrong

Try to remember that just because you personally have not see what the OP saw (along with other witnesses) does not mean it never happened.

Cool well just so you know my stance im not going to try and contest anything you believe in, those things are yours and you choose to make them real.

Chances are then you saw some kind of ghost, Ive read a ton of books of peoples encounters with ghosts etc both locally and around the world, there was one which comes to mind here of a ghost that allegedly haunted the ruin of an old Abbey/Monastery, the reason this account springs to mind after reading your account is quite a few people claimed to have seen this ghost and all gave the description of it being a figure wearing a dark and of the hood where the head should be either being empty or too dark to see into, and the theory most people share on the sightings is that its the ghost of one the monks (If i can find the name of the Abbey i shall private mail you some links to the accounts) but you said the thing you saw was short?

I have heard and read accounts of people seeing ghosts that walked with their feet in the ground upto their knees or sometimes upto their waist, the explanation often being that the level ground was much lower when the body of the spirit/ghost was alive, which is a reasonable theory.

Do a little digging/research and see if you can find out if there was ever any form of building that was there at any time in the past such as a church or something similar, please let me know if you do find that there did used to be a building or something as if there did it could help you make a leap towards getting yourself an explanation for what you saw.

I believe you'd call it a Knox, its a very old english spirit, generally they were buried in graveyards before the 1800s either a dog or a criminal was hanged and buried to watch over the graveyard, perhaps thats why the dog was scared - it was a dog spirit? But generally they look more like bhargest (I'm going from a very old book on british spirits here), the Knox if its a man is generally human-sized and robed like a monk.

I read your story last night before bed after doing a quick last minute look-through to see if I missed anything on the site.
My daughter co-sleeps with her dad and myself and I don't think I've ever held her that tightly while sleeping.
I agree with the person who said it may be a strong demonic force since you saw it during the day.
I grew up in jamaica and maybe one day I'll post a few stories of the things I experienced there, but they always happened at night...always.

Quite interesting.. Though wont attempt to classify the entity that you saw.. Have heard of similar a couple times over the years in my travels .. Seen some odd things but nothing like that.. Doubt that it would make a return visit - at least the ones that heard of before never did.. would recommend use caution on the odd chance you spot it again.. Always heed the instincts of animals they sense / see more than most people do...

I haven't left any details out. That area, as I stated, is very rural. It's not uncommon to see no cars there. Houses are few and far between. The road itself doesn't even have a yellow line down the middle. It's definitely country as can be. And it was the weekend. No rush hour.
