ATS Avatar upload and set-up guide (with step-by-step pictures)

I have seen so many new members having difficulty understanding how to upload and set an image as their avatar. I want to try and make it as simple for them as possible. So below is a step-by-step guide on how and where to upload your pictures and how to set one as your avatar.

1. Click on the Tools bar. Then click on the Pictures bar (as circled in red).

2. This will take you to the ATS Media Log In Page. Here you will type in your Username and Password.

3. You will then be at your ATS Media Home Page. From here you will scroll down and on the left will read My Account and in green, 3rd down, will say Upload/Change Photos (as circled in red), click on it.

4. You will be taken to a page where you manage your pictures. On the left you will see a box which reads My Picture Gallery, first link down in green and bold letters reads, Upload Picture (as circled in red). You will click it.

5. This will take you to the add picture page. Scroll down to where it reads Upload Photo and click Browse (as circled in red). Select 1 photo you would like to upload from your computer and select that photo. Then hit Add Photo! in the green box below the Browse button.

6. It will take you to your page with all your photos. Find the photo you uploaded [will be in top left under Album: View all photos] and left click on that photo.

7. You will be on the page with the photo you selected. Scroll down to where you see Use as ATS Avatar, highlight the link within the box (as circled in red), then copy that link. Then click the ATS Avatar words in green (as circled in blue).

8. This will take you to your ATS Member Center. Scroll down until you see where it says Your Avatar, then below it Avatar URL, paste your copied Avatar link into the box (as circled in red). Then click the Submit button just below.

Now you have your new avatar uploaded, saved, and set as your avatar for ATS.

Remember the maximum pixel size for any ATS avatar is 170x240. Please review Here

I can't get past step 2

Is there a secret handshake required to log into the media home page

I've tried signing in with my username and email address to no avail, all I get is:

"The following errors have occurred:
Incorrect username or password. Please try again!"

Then tried using the 'forgotten password' link and apparently I'm not recognised, so tried to 'sign up' and sign ups have been disabled

Guess I'll have to just stay blank and uninteresting

The same thing happened to me. I am glad I am not alone - I was not sure if I was doing this correctly.

I am sure that I am handicapped in some way, but maybe I am not.

So here is my problem. I can log into the section where it asks me to upload my photo, I find the photo I would like to upload, I select it, and hit the button so the uploading can take place, and it begins, then it goes to a white scene, and nothing is uploaded. I have tried the same picture, and different pictures. I'm not sure what the problem is, maybe the picture is too large? If I could get some help that would be awesome. Hopefully this wasn't to vague, it seems vague to me.... Someone please help me before I go mad.....

Since I assume you have already tried using your current username and password, or your username and the password originally provided by ATS in their welcome Email, then I would say that you should ask the ATS staff for assistance. They are always here to help.

Click the 'Forums' tab and scroll down until you see on the left ATS STAFF: Virtually God-like, underneath you will see all of the staff members. Just one of the name's and it will take you to the U2U page where you can send them a message. Try messaging one of the Super-Moderators.

OK, I contacted 3 ATS staff members over a week ago, and nothing has happened. My U2Us have not even been returned. THIS SUCKS. I'm not blaming you, but perhaps you have some other ideas? This seems like it should be such a simple issue, and yet none of the staff seem willing to help. Can you suggest where I can go with this?
