Err no it is not always an eclipse when the moon and sun are in the same scene. Are you new to earth?. If its not a reflection off the window it's the sun shining of the moon then going through the cloud.

OP what do you mean it is behind the sun?

The sun is about 150,000,000,000m from the earth, so how big would this object have to be to be behind the sun and yet still appear so huge ?
