I have no strong views on Jones, take it for what it is...

I enjoyed everyones comments though, the remixes are hilarious...

Charlie Sheen interview, pure entertainment, and I enjoyed..

Thats all I have to say about that.

I merely gave my opinion.

His whole over-the-top rant was purely subjective and opinion-based for the most part. The rest is just wild supposition.

I don't think he is lying about the way he feels for Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and their teenage followers, that doesn't mean what he said is universally true either.

He's also not presenting any facts (but I need to?) when he claims that Bieber is being used to help pass "gun rights" and "cyber security" laws, he's just rolling into an unsubstantiated paranoid theory, and in the context of the topic, this is not even a new one.

I'm sorry but hordes of hormonal teenagers aren't going to be looking up to Tesla or Ferdinand Magellan because they don't relate to them. It's not some mystery, nor some vast conspiracy. They'll learn about them, but right now, don't expect them to fully appreciate their accomplishments at such an age.

Adults have always looked at the music their kids listen to, as being void of any depth with terrible influential properties.

They said the same thing about Sinatra, Frankie Avalon, Fabian, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Lee Lewis, Prince, Madonna, Nirvana, and just about every punk rock or alternative band.

From the John Birch Society's "American Opinion", which echoed the same sentiments of former Vice President Spiro Agnew in regards to popular music being a "communist plot to corrupt youth".

There statements go back 30 to 50 years but the fact is, popular musicians have always been accused of such things or simply labeled "evil". It helps politicians and media personalities get a lot of attention/ratings as well.

Any different than what Jones is doing now?

Life went on, the youth grew up and became "us", and we now seem to have forgotten that we too were teenagers once, caught up in what was "cool", and fascinated by the rebellious acts of provocateurs. So much so that we make a greater deal about Lady Gaga and her silly attempts at provocation, as if the life of the youth depended on stopping her from singing.

You know what happens when adults do that, right?
The musicians become forbidden fruit, and thus even more popular.

While I don't personally like any of the newer musicians, I'm not surprised that teens do.
I think people need to just RELAX, and let them slowly grow out of things like we all did.

They're just kids for goodness sake. They're not going to be this way forever.

I pointed out why I felt his rant was useless in the very first post I made in this thread.
In later posts I've reiterated that his "over-the-top" antics were on the same level as that of a pro-wrestler.
