obvious troll is obvious.

At any rate, none of the prissy people I know have joined the military, whatever their identity or orientation lol... People who are afraid of breaking a nail will not join the military, and if they do, they'll probably be on desk duty...or in the Airforce

As long as they wear the uniform as per code while fully adhering to the dress code, is fully proficient to service, has sworn total allegiance to this nation, the flag and her people anyone should have the right to service if that is what they wish.

Our military will become a joke, a bunch of drag queens and cross dressers prancing around during military training. How will anyone take them seriously if some buffed up guy is running around in a skirt with lipstick on.

It's going to create a lot of problems.

Does this mean you could have say a whole unit doing a 'charge of the light brigade' across the desert dressed as drag queens?

Not going to happen as the United States Department Of Defense has and adheres to a strict dress code which must be followed while on duty or the clock.

Paranoid much? Just because someone has a different view point than you doesn't make them a 'plant.'

Have you considered that homosexuals might rape or gang rape other members of the military? What about off duty going around cross dressing or in drag? This will create problems. The military has a macho attitude, having crossdressers and gays will only incite problems.

How can members of the military stay focused when the person next to them keeps eyeing them up and making flirting gestures?

well I'm inclined to this the greek were right lovers make better soldier's.

your post makes an intresting point, if you were in a combat situation tinfoil and there was a beautiful woman next to you (I'm assuming your a hetrosexual male.) would you be more concerned about eying them up and making flirting gestures or by the guy trying to lodge lead in your brain?

beside's which not all crossdressers are gay.

as for rape, this issue is as old as the hills, I'm sure they were arguing about it when they let women into the army too.

I used to clean a house for a man who was gay and a Bronze Star recipient, among many other medals he had been awarded, this guy fought in Korea,

But I am pretty sure he must have hidden his sexual identity,

I don't see this as that big of problem,

I see lord hyperbole has returned once again to the forum and found the post button. Would you like a comfy chair or are you fine on your chariot?

Have you ever hung around army boys? They do some of the gayest jokes on each other and generally do dumb things yet they do okay I think.

Also you clearly have no idea on the definitions of half the terms you're using or how mental issues are categorized. You've just found some words that agree with your agenda.

Do some research and perhaps respect the issue and maybe people might listen. Statistics on rape don't back you up. Your sources don't back you up. Your source doesn't comprehend what it is actually saying. Even people who agree with you should notice this.

Probably you just inciting people but please prove us wrong with some genuine research and understanding.

Exactly - the army has a certain dress code that is strictly adhered to. I can't see them suddenly tossing that for a transgendered person. So, in other words, man, woman or transgendered - they will likely have to dress just like your pictures.

I'm a happily married straight male, with no inclination whatsoever of ever wearing my wife's or any other woman's clothes. Just the thought of two men getting it on with each other is something I find revolting. At the same time however, I don't see why queers should have to hide the fact just because they are in the military, just as long as they are sensible and not flaunting themselves the way they do in the queer parades. ( I will never use the word "GAY" to describe them or refer to them in any way. To me the word "GAY" will always mean "happy and carefree", and I don't think I've ever seen a happy and carefree queer. I think what many folk forget is that queers still deserve the same rights as normal folk, and should be allowed openess concerning what they are. If they can qualify for service in the military, then so be it! Most of those ancient Spartans were queer as three dollar bills, yet were some of the best fighters in history.

Barack Obama is being pressured by a team of activists to issue an executive order that would require the U.S. military to permit those individuals with a mental disturbance known as Gender Identity Disorder – including cross-dressers, drag queens, transsexuals, she-males and the so-called "intersexed" – to serve openly.

....

Now spearheading the new effort is the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, an activist group whose leaders want Obama issue an executive order to force the Pentagon to ban immediately discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity (code for transsexuals, cross-dressers, drag queens, and she-males).

The group wants the same "rights" for individuals who have mental disturbances known as a Gender Identity Disorder (GID) or Transvestic Fetishism – both listed as mental illnesses in the APA's "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual Of Mental Disorders" (DSM-IV-R).

LGBT activists on college campuses across the U.S. also are attacking the military and the ROTC for banning of transgendered and intersexed individuals from service.

You want statistics and facts on homosexual rape in the military? Here you go:

Rates of Homosexual Assault in the Military Are Disproportionately High

Homosexual activist groups themselves have admitted that less than three percent of Americans are homosexual or bisexual.

FRC has reviewed the “case synopses” of all 1,643 reports of sexual assault reported by the four branches of the military for Fiscal Year 2009 (October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009). Our startling finding was that over eight percent (8.2%) of all military sexual assault cases were homosexual in nature. This suggests that homosexuals in the military are about three times more likely to commit sexual assaults than heterosexuals are, relative to their numbers.

Lack of Privacy Leads to Sexual Assaults

FRC and other supporters of the current law have pointed out the risks involved in having servicemembers share living quarters, showers, and bathrooms with persons of the same sex who may be sexually attracted to them.

This concern is borne out by many of the case synopses reported by the Pentagon. The most common type of homosexual assault is one in which the offender fondles or performs oral sex upon a sleeping victim. Assaults upon victims who are intoxicated are also common.

Source

That document goes more in depth and is 17 pages long. I would suggest reading it.

Just because you don't believe it doesn't happen doesn't mean it does. You can be the bleeding heart liberal all you want but it still won't hid the fact that homosexual rape is higher than heterosexual rape in the military.
