I say domestic unrest and revolution will head to China eventually because their people know their government doesn't give a FK about their living conditions. Their people know they aren’t free. Half of them are forced to work 24/7 in sweat shops that also double as their homes. They aren’t happy, all they need is a little encouragement to stand up against their government, and their government knows this. They also know they will not be able to get away with another Tiananmen Square incident if the people in China decide to revolt. Yeah.. I bet the ruling party is starting to get scared and this is why speaking out against anarchy and protests.

As soon as we get a leader with the balls that will put a stop to their currency cheating, and puts pressure on the giant corporations of the world to be held accountable for the human rights violations and pollution they are getting away with in China, the Chinese economy will crumble. They aren't innovators, they keep their currency artificially low so we will trade with them and so they can steal the blueprints to our ideas and inventions. Without us they are nothing. Us without them equals less junk and more jobs.

Firstly - it is the US who is manipulating their currency, not China. It is the US who have printed trillions in the hope of devaluing the US denominated assets that China have fairly accumulated by producing things and selling them. China is simply refusing to allow the US to inflate away those debts, by printing their own currency in sufficient amounts to hold the value of those US denominated savings at the same value.

Secondly - they do not want to be like the US - the US is a joke, and they want nothing to do with the degenerate culture in it.

Thirdly - they ARE innovators. It was a widely held fiction that you can export manufacturing, and retain innovation. you can't - the innovation comes from operational engineers and technicians working on the plant floor.

You sound bitter and a little confused. China manipulates their currency by pegging the Yuan 6:1 against the dollar. You said the U.S. economy is “hollowed out,” that’s why… The Chinese directly linking their currency to the dollar targets U.S. companies to bring their manufacturing to China. How could it possibly be cheaper to make a good and ship it halfway around the world without currency manipulation and slave labor???

The Chinese are not innovators. All of the technology they’ve gotten and use today has been imported into their country, and the only reason it was imported into their country is because they make it cheap for corporations to make their goods there (they buy it through slave labor). Say they want to learn how to make computer processors? It is literally no secret the Chinese artificially keeps the Yuan low. They are looking for the right time to raise the value while the U.S. secretly and underhandedly prints more money, while letting the people believe that everything is just fine. Americans are in for the shock of the century (more shocking than JFK, Pearl Harbor, and 9/11).

When China raises the value of their currency, yes their worth will skyrocket, but will companies leave China? not likely, and not in the numbers that you might think. China's manufacturing infrastructure is currently the most advanced in the world. Remember, China is importing and producing gold/silver at record numbers, despite inflation woes, their currencies are actually gaining worth while ours is losing value at light speed.

I hope you've actually been to China and have done business with these people when you make assumptions like you have. If you haven't...seriously just stop. The Chinese are oppressed, everybody knows this. The government is fearful of the people's awakening and even Prime Minister Wen Jiabao has admitted that things must change as their society advances. Some of you guys have no idea the type of regulations that are being placed to better China, fiscally, environmentally, politically, and civilly.

China pegged its currency to the $US to facilitate trading contracts and give its currency stability. The US oligarchs have decided to use that as a weapon by trashing the dollar so they can inflate away their own debts, and destroy the value of Chinese savings. The Chinese are not going to sit there and do nothing - so they hold the peg, the US prints money - so China prints the same amount - and stuffs it into foreign banks to facilitate bilateral trade. These were aimed purely at exploiting poor countries for cheap labor, then reselling the products with a major markup. The Chinese were exploited by your corporations, and you have been able to live with cheap imported goods purchased on credit from China for years - now that the illusion is crumbling, you blame China for it? All the savings that they earned working like slaves to put TV's in every room in the US, you would rob them of that money?

Apart from being purely racist - this is completely wrong. it is wrong historically, and it is wrong today. As the Chinese wealth has increased, so have opportunities for education - as manufacturing is imported into China, so does the opportunity for innovation. Those are most enslaved who believe they are free. Democracy is a word I hear, but never see in practice. The people of China seem to have decent people at the helm who have some concern for the long term benefit of their people.

They have advised them to buy silver and gold, and as a nation have accumulated commodities. They restricted foreign capital inflows, and hiked reserve requirements. They have done quite a lot to protect their people from what is to come - whereas the US has done nothing for their people except to feed them lies.

The people of the US are totally unprepared for the next phase of the global economic depression and coming collapse of the US.
