Are you trying to tell me a man can get an erection when he doesn't want sex, and that then, some evil woman can use that against him? Sorry, I do believe a man can randomly get an erection, but that then a woman then threaten, cajole and make him use it, and that's rape? No, that doesn't make sense.

I'm ashamed to be in the same genus as this fool.
I don't know how you Americans stand all the bible stuff being spouted by so many people. I probably would have blown my head off by now.

Please, do not spread misinformation.
Man can get an erection and can have an orgasm during rape, even if he does not want the sex. Just like woman can have an orgasm during rape. Erection and orgasm are primarily controlled by autonomic nervous system. This is basic biology.
Woman can rape man, that is a fact. If it happens less, it is only because men tend to be more physically powerful.edit on 23/2/11 by Maslo because: typo

I can assure you that unless they lived very sheltered lives, such kinds of injuries are very much "natural occurrences" for many boys (and tomboyish girls alike). My point is, *something* happens. In both cases, you're presented with a fact for which "natural" explanations can be offered. But there's also the possibility that the cause was of an entirely different nature. Are you going to leave it at that and do nothing? Indifference comes at a price...edit on 23-2-2011 by pikappa because: wrong wording
In the first trimester, embryonic causes of spontaneous abortion are the predominant etiology and account for 80-90% of miscarriages
Genetic abnormalities within the embryo (ie, chromosomal abnormalities) are the most common cause of spontaneous abortion and account for 50-65% of all miscarriages.
Teratogenic and mutagenic factors may play a role, but quantification is difficult.

Has anyone noticed it's almost always the religious nuts who want to force their version of what should be on us? These are usually the ones who shout the loudest about the followers of any other religion being godless heathens. But THEIR version of how things should be are from the one true faith and you damn well better listen. Anyone who tries to tell others what to do based on what they think is right infuriates me, but T&C forbids me to express my opinion of the ones who do it because they are Holier Than Thou. By the way, ain't these the type that are caught with the $20 hookers?

Good point. If the uterus police are actual doctors, do they not have to follow HIPPA laws and not discuss the specifics of my medical history.

You cannot punish the many for the actions of the few. The vast majority of women that suffer a miscarriage, didn't want to, they didn't do anything on purpose to cause it. Accusing every woman is justing adding insult to injury.

You blame yourself and wonder what happened or what you could have done differently. It is not something easy to deal with esp when you are so excited to be pregnant. I know I have been there. I am unable to have kids and it was nothing I did, my body has female issues and I can't sustain a pregnancy. It is very hard for me because I really want kids and I still can by adoption but I would like to have my own.
And?
Many miscarraiges occur because of neglect... it's a simple fact so I'm not sure what you're going on about your personal experience for.
Do you think pregnant women should be free to smoke, cause brain damage etc. etc. to their unborn?edit on 22-2-2011 by SevenBeans because: (no reason given)
