Let's get this out of the way straight away. I've been on Lots. Look at my reg date.

People saying that "all msm outlets are saying this so it must be true" wtf? How long have you been on ats?

Right. I never said mainstream. Al Jazeera, France 24, Russia Today, Fars etc. are covering it. Not just your tainted MSM.

And the whole point of the list is that I'm not just taking media reports alone. See the other items on the list?

Well, oracle - instead of spending your time criticising and ranting, why not let us know what your theory is? Complete with evidence naturally

what you provide there is not really evidence

Do you actually need to hold the film, examine the SD cards, interview the pilots yourself, and have the jets in your garage so you can establish their veracity?

Do you turn up to your local courthouse every day to make sure they're doing everything correctly?

I don't think this guy would believe it even if he was in the thick of it from what I've seen him writing. How much more proof can one want? I could understand if we was on the subjects of aliens and 2012 but we are not. The amount of ignorence is unbelievable.

Probably just a wind up merchant to be fair to him. If he genuinely holds those kind of views he'll lead a tricky life. The trust no-one approach has its benefits, but it throws up a lot of false positives, as this site will very much attest.

FREE Libya!

and godspeed to New Zealand!

Thank you for the link. If you look at what is being shown on the live feed right now, this destruction could only have been done by military force, not by a bunch of unarmed protesters. Egypt is reporting that the runway at Benghazi airport has been destroyed (bombed), planes cannot land and they are reinforcing their western border with Libya. I think much more information will start flowing out very soon.

Where did i claim i have any evidence?

When quoting a sentance please use/read the entire sentance so that people can see in what context i have said what i said.

(rest of the sentance that you quoted)

At the moment i am choosing to believe this but that is a personal choice

Right. I never said mainstream. Al Jazeera, France 24, Russia Today, Fars etc. are covering it. Not just your tainted MSM.

No you only said All media outlets... i am asssuming the msm must be a part of "all".

News story carried by all media outlets and wires

As said i have choosen to believe this but not based on any so called evidence that has been posted here.
I choose to believe this based on the fact that i would not put it past any dictator to start killing his people based on, for example N korea.

However were it up to me(which it obviously is not) i would not deploy any military to the region without personally "seeing" the need for it my self.

How many times have military forces been deployed in situations like this to "get rid of the dictator and save the people"? Iraq? Afghanistan? Iran? Vietnam? Korea?
In how many of these places are the people rejoicing and showing thankfulness for the aid instead of anger over the thousands of lives lost in the process of trying to "help" and ultimately ending up with a western puppet in controll?

So still nothing? No pictures? Video? Anything???

Firstly, independent, widespread reports of aircraft firing on protesters in different areas, hospitals reporting the use of very high calibre and “anti aircraft” weapons on protesters, a report that two jets have landed in Benina Airport after refusing to fire on protesters and then another two jets landing in Malta with the pilots themselves saying that they have been ordered to fire on protesters, is not "nothing". With this in mind and considering that the Libyan military and foreign mercenaries have most definitely been ordered to sweep the streets of protesters or otherwise attempt to curb uprising by force, I don’t see why this is so hard for you to believe. Unless you are just trying to be irritating.

Secondly, If you and others nearby were being strafed by fighter jets, you would not hang about to take a picture if you had any sense. Due to them coming and going so quickly and with obstructing buildings and other objects, even if you had complete disregard for your own safety and had resisted the overwhelming urge to run for your life and curl up somewhere, you may still not be able to get a reasonable picture.

Especially considering the current situation with regards to media in the country, I am curious what you are expecting. Foreign correspondents are virtually non-existent, for example the BBC has one woman whose identity has not been revealed and CNN has one Ben Wedeman. Eyewitness reports are pretty much as good as it gets given the circumstances, and we have had much more to suggest that they are true. Some protesters may in fact have taken photos or videos of military aircraft, but have thus far been unable to get these to the media and this may take several days or weeks depending on how events unfold. Scepticism is healthy but you are taking it a bit too far, at the moment we can put it beyond all reasonable doubt that this happened.

Gaddafi defies revolt with tanks, planes..posted 15 mins ago on Reuters. 8:25 am EST.
Reuters Article

(Reuters) - Libya's Muammar Gaddafi used tanks, helicopters and warplanes to quell a growing revolt, witnesses said on Tuesday, as the veteran leader scoffed at reports he was fleeing after four decades in power.

Warplanes bombed portions of the capital Tripoli on Tuesday in new attacks in the Mediterranean coastal city, and mercenaries fired on civilians, Al Jazeera reported.

In the eastern town of Al Bayda, resident Marai Al Mahry told Reuters by telephone that 26 people including his brother Ahmed had been shot dead overnight by Gaddafi loyalists.

"They shoot you just for walking on the street," he said, sobbing uncontrollably as he appealed for help. Protesters were being attacked with tanks and warplanes, he said.

I think we can all agree now that this is real, and is happening.

The article also states Gaddafi did NOT go to Venezuela.

Gaddafi's son Saif on Sunday vowed his father would keep fighting "until the last man standing" and the Libyan leader appeared on television after days of seclusion to dismiss reports he had fled to Venezuela, ruled by his friend President Hugo Chavez.

It may be the concern of the UN, but what are they really going to do? They have no say in anything really. They voted against the war in Iraq; the US ignored them and went ahead anyway. It took them until 2007 to successfully make slavery illegal in Mauritania!

Long term from this will be the replacement of kadaffi by a more pro west leader who will give up that newly discovered oil at a cheaper price, we remember the deals and rothschild meetings in corfu now they've gone back to turn on their friend after inviting him closer of course.
Invasion by western forces will promote hostility however if they find ways to make the people demand democracy from within and put a puppet in charge they acheive their goal while remaining anonymus, theres no more money to be made in libya as the oil there is already under contract.
Thats my theory time will tell

Well funny then that videos of everything else seem to come up. No jets firing on people though. In case you guys missed it that is the title of the thread. I'm not denying that they are slaughtering each other there. I have not seen a single piece of evidence to suggest that military jets are doing strafes on people. We have all the media quoting the same source which made such a claim. Nothing else. Deny ignorance

Maybe NATO or UN forces could step in?
Gaddafi is a lunatic. Hopefully after all is said and done he will be removed from power.

West should not step in. Let the idiots sort their own issues for a change. Either way the west is always accused despite the dirty politics that exists within the ME. I do not deny that west has used the ME several times for their foreign policies. This time, lets just wait and watch.

What about all the witnesses and the defected pilots? Did you know that the internet is not working there? So if someone would be so stupid to film or take pics while being bombed, how the hell would he upload it without any connection?? Sometimes you just have to believe the people on the ground, as if someone would ever make that up..

Yes Ill tell you exactly what I am saying. I hope the US TROOPS DON'T DO A THING. The same people on here crying that its genocide and something needs to be done....most.....are in fact......the same ones who post their negative garbage trying to bash the US troops of "amerika", as many on here like to put it. I saved thousands of muslims in Iraq from being murdered like 100s of 1000s were by hussein. Now more muslims are being slaughtered and you want us to help? How about after the flack most of us soldiers caught after iraq, if you want something done, join and go over there or do it yourself.

Are you serious? Do you know what evidence is?

If a murder occurs you do not need to see the act taking place in order to find someone guilty!

And I refer you to my above post. This thread is full of evidence, but I guess your understanding of evidence might be wrong.

Well do not be surprised. I'm sure there are Media Moles from around the world trying to get some news and coverage out via satellite and video phones. Do not forget, this is a ME issue which everyone is watching since it definitely effects the OIL prices around the world.
