Not common, but fairly regular. Every few years.

Mother's give birth to co-joined twins too. Does that make it 'typical'?
What if 'mother's were giving birth to co-joined twins while FEMA was preparing drills in and around their home town?? I'd think the two 'oddities' might add up to something to think about, no?

Listen, FEMA has a lot of energy/concern about the New Madrid fault line.

Coincidence?

Nah!

There was a N.C. quake not too long ago I just sent an email to someone living there about it. Small maybe a 2.5 or so right on the S.C. or TN border there. It's on the USGS page now...

Huge planet/star body entering solar system---- Do you have absolute proof of this? ( uncheck)
FEMA doing drills?---- whats new? (uncheck)
Prices soaring (check)
Sun is putting out X-flares---- somewhat regular occurance far as I recall (uncheck)
Wildlife dying off---- somewhat regular occurance but debateable. but I'll give you a (half check)
Poles are shifting---- another regular occurance but seems to be a bit quicker than normal so I'll give another ( half check)

World going to sh*t (check)

Fear mongering to get stars and flags (check)

I really dont see why you guys are picking on the OP. I hadnt really heard of earthquakes in Florida, and thanks to another poster, now I not only know we had one, but they arent entirely uncommon. I have learned something in this thread. I really dont get why you guys are picking on him/her. If you dont care, or dont think its a big deal, why post here?

In light of the other east coast earthquake activity, it is of interest to me. And apparently the OP, and a couple other people.

ok i was just telling you what fox and the usgs said but if you want to milk somemore flags and stars and scare people
go for it, just pretend i never said what really happened.

What really happened? According to FOX?

Then explain the earthquake in Alabama at almost the exact same time?

Two states? One sonic boom?

Please.

FOX also said they were sorry for f'ing up Ron Paul's strawpoll win too.
Whatever................................

During the height of the Deepwater Disaster someone posted a very interesting map showing the bottom of the Gulf with some sort of lines drawn to the Madrid fault and spoke about the connections. There was concern about how deep the wells were and how that might effect [insert geological term I can't remember here]. Good luck trying to dig that out, but I'll try to do it...unless someone happens to have it handy?

mobile is west of pensacola about 52 miles
so the boom could have been heard
you can drive to mobile in about 45 mins

I remeber last summer thinking that the empty hole where the oil came out of filling up with sea water or a vacumme of air would cause the whole area to cave in and the great lakes would drain into the ocean. My
neighbor said something about in the bible the oceans having dead life and turning black and the great lakes draining into the ocean. I don't remember exactly what it was she said. I felt like long term consquences were yet to unfold.

Logic is not something people like to hear. Everyone has seen 2012 the movie, all the history channel documentaries, they read the books about 2012 and "aliens returning."

Till 2012 passes you are going, to get meaningless threads like this over everytime natural occurence happens.
cause people think
aliens are coming or
2012 end of the world is happening.

My point is..earthquakes happen..
there is no secret "cover up" despite all the blogs people have read.

I do find it odd the distance range at which people are reporting this..If it were just a sonic boom..some as far away as several hundred miles.
