So this was actually plan C. It is difficult to find a timeline for that. The telescope then has been shut down on 17th. While there is nothing to say that the telescope did not run out coolant, there is also nothing to say that it's mission in plan C was complete, as in "mapping" neo's, and 2011 had a few surprise very neo's in quick succession pre 17th, (check out Spaceweather.com links to neos designations) Perhaps they simpy had no more money to man the project, but mission was not accomplished in spirit. All of our real information comes from NASA. They have the best equipment, best scientist, best physicists, you name it, they are the creme del a creme. What on earth makes anyone think they would tell us mere mortals the truth about anything. We have no choice but to believe every word they say. Who monitors THEM? no one. They can say what they want, When they want. lt never ceases to amaze me, the blind faith we have in this organisation. The government on the other hand, we know lies through their teeth to us and we know it , but NASA we blindly follow and believe every thing they say. They are suffering cutbacks, B$%&%. l stopped believing NASA way back in the sixties, things just didn't add up, they still don't. A very wise person told me once a long time ago.
