Here is a coin to give you an idea. Slowed down and out of focus. I did not have any washers on hand and after rummaging and stomping all around my garage to no avail lol.

A washer would work much better. Because the hole would "wink" when spinning slowly or even out of focus. A spinning washer should resemble the coin more then what is in the footage. I don't know what it is but im certain it is not a washer.

Kids don't try this at home

On a different note, one thing which stood out to me was the level of noise / particle-tracks in the video. Those CCDs are getting totally *hammered* by radiation!

Yup CME in progress right now too... They must be getting blasted up there today.

Good thing NASA thought to order shields way back in 1964 from GE

As I said....spinning too fast. IN order to remain erect in Earth's 1G, on a table under its own power...it has to spin much faster. Also, it is wobbling violently, there. In the ISS video, no wobble....and again, there is a significant "blooming" in the CCD. After-images. Also, I found that clip of other examples, included the round object (washer....or, I like "Justin Bieber CD"...
....) in better quality.

In micro-gravity, that isn't an issue....and, once it is given a certain amount of angular momentum, it will remain the same continually...until acted upon in some way, whether from physically encountering another large object, or gradually from frictional forces from the ever-present (but infinitesimally small) particles that exist in LEO. And the Solar Wind, too....will have an effect, eventually. (In umpteen years)....:

Go to the link, watch it in 720p full screen. Wipe out any image you have of transparent alien creatures and watch for feet. legs, the square pack which you can't see too well in that small video. Then watch for the legs to pop up at 0:50 secs, then swing down anti-clockwise at 1:05 (some of the shadow of the boots visible as well as the squareness of the backpack), knee's obscured by solar panel. Then as the legs drop out of view, at 1:27 you see the visor pop in, it becomes see through as the head comes round anti-clockwise, then you see darkness which is the head inside and cast shadow.

Hope that clears that up.

Nice job here. I watched the original small low res video, and it truly seemed like an ET or something, but after watching it full screen max resolution on YT, and trying to remove from my head what I "thought" I was seeing the first time, it really does just look like the cosmonaut was shifting around working, at maybe a 70 degree angle. The lighter "flashing" on him was probably sun reflecting off the lens on his helmet.

As for the floating circular donut shape, it does seem similar to the objects we saw on the tether video. I still have no reasonable explanation for that video yet. But in this video it appears (on the high res version) to fade out slightly on the left and right edges of the donut before it fades out. Again at first it didn't seem like it could be a washer. But if you imagine if it were a washer spinning, from left to right or right to left, the left and right edges would fade out slightly before the rest of the image, right? Which to me, it appears to do in the vid (especially when it zooms in on it)
Hard to tell exactly with this crap video equipment, but the higher resolution certainly helped me put some closure on this one =)

Cheers.

I think one of the biggest problems is that sometimes going in with the view to finding a ufo, will find you a ufo, unless it's an obvious hoax and then that's easily discreditable. I've not really been into the whole debunking thing before as I really don't have the time or the computer skills to do the video editing and such, but being a tattooist and artist, my eye, both creative and for discerning, isn't too shabby

Onward n upward lol.

What color ar the space suits and boots? would it be safe to say that they chameleon themselves to the same color as the crap behind it?
First time i've ever seen a space suit that is cloaked.

There's no cloaking or morphing, it's the shadows cast. If you look at the footage, it is already a bit of a sepia tone, this includes the iss. I will without doubt say that that is an astronaut! and nothing more, some imaginations just can't be tamed.

Watch it in 720p on the youtube site again.

I did i watched it 720 P full screen and i'm sorry i dont see it, i'm totally not thinking alien or anything i just dont se it, even as a shadow i just cant see how it morphs the image at all.
Its to lucid to be a shadow.. when the "shadow" goes over anything it morphs it as if its water.. shadows are dark are they not? so they should cause a darkened image on whatever it masks not the same color but blurred?
I dunno but i just dont see that.

The difference in shadow colours is due to the distance between the astronaut, the solar panel and the iss behind him, he is in a bay area there. As said, I would happily place all bets on that, and I am NOT a betting man.

Thanks for cleaning up the link.
I think this verifies that the video is an effort at a hoax. Someone grained up the video creating shadows and a healthy imagination from viewers. I put this one in the resolved category.

I still dont agre with the shadow. unless you find me a live video fromt hat angle i'm not gonna belive it, you cant just say its a shadow when clearly that form moves BEHIND the solar panel. from the angle your sayin it just doesnt match up with the other video. and why if thats the same video is one in "sepia tone' and the other not?
and i'm really surprized this thread is being considered "closed" when its obvious there's speculation in regards to it.

i circled the image and how it goes behidn the bar. just watch past the bar and please tell me thats a shadow if it really is and how .

Anyone care to explain to me what in this video suggests there is "alien activity"? I watched a few minutes, but I'm not going to watch 16 minutes worth of footage showing a washer floating away into space.
