Yes I knew about the fault. But it's good of you to remind everyone that the area is full of faults. There are videos that show the fault from the air. And the sandboils. And sandblows? It's sandblows. The boils are small ones.

Small quakes dotting a horizontal line across the country. Odd for a Sunday, I wonder if fracking is happening today?

New Madrid is putting up billboards touting its war history and pushing for tourism in the area. I had never seen anything like it.

Well today is the day that the official *cough verdict of what caused the small quakes in Lancashire, UK.
IMHO it's simple ... the fracking caused them.

Start fracking = small quake
Stop fracking = no quake

leave it a while then when no more quakes ...

8:55 AM unusual shivery rattling quake that made my glass items in the cabinets ring.

No trucks, no quarry, no wind. Just a ringing through the kitchen as the glasses bumped into one another and rang.

I thought it was too quiet up here.

It's showing a 1.5 about 2 hours ago, in s.e. mo. I't on the usgs earthquake site.

kinda funny I didn't see it earlier. Seems to have just showed up

While not strictly related to Arkansas or earthquakes, I have just posted as thread about the topic of fracking. Particularly, this post relates to the possibility of contaminated groundwater as discovered by the EPA.
