I can't imagine the fear the people that live in this region must be feeling when they read your posts. People have families and jobs and homes and lives.
I'm getting that you are well studied and versed in this area, so I'm really not disagreeing with you here. I know nothing of these matters.
But I do know what having a family means. And before you urge people to pack up the Uhaul and hit the road... I just want to ask..
On a scale of 10-----how sure are you about this---- 10 being the most certain?
And are you able to provide any of these fearful people with some sort of a time line for this disaster?
Thanks in advance for your reply.edit on 17-2-2011 by MRuss because: added two words

So you don't think that pumping millions of gallons of water treated with chemicals that are added to promote lubrication can affect the slippage of massive slabs of rock? Water alone can do it. It was cited decades ago after studies showed that man-made reservoirs in India caused EQ's due to water that was pushed into faults.
I believe that fracking and state governments allowing it are extremely bad policy in more ways than one.

You noted earlier that this recent spike wasn't as big as one in October and another. How does this newest swarm match up now.
And admit that you love me.
